No CFP, the process is normally enabled by a bank providing the funds to enable the shares to be bought, and then sold to repay the loan. Companies are not allowed to make loans to directors, and shares can not be sold until they have been bought and paid for.
I’m sure however that the market would like to see PM exercising his option and holding a significant percentage of the shares and not immediately selling for a (currently) tiny profit.

AC. In my view it is simply inconceivable for PM not to exercise his 12m options at just over 4p - immediately selling, if he needs to, sufficient shares to recoup his outlay and any tax liability. However, if he fails to do so (and the opportunity probably explains why he has never bought shares in the market) he’s effectively telling the world that he has no faith whatsoever in the company and the SP will react accordingly.

Buying by insiders is hugely encouraging.
The absence of RNS announcements is not.
I’m well under water, and as, thank goodness, I don’t immediately need the cash, I’ll continue to hold trusting (for now) that patience may eventually pay off-but my God it’s frustrating!

After that flurry of PI’s getting sucked in by ridiculous speculation of a 20-30p bid, whilst institutional holders sold stock as fast as they could, reality is dawning.
This dog of a company is unwanted by anyone with any sense.

Good man. I bought some more earlier this week thinking that they were cheap. 700,000 shares sold so far this morning, 70,000 bought.
Shares look as though they’ll be cheaper still next week.

Except Terry it’s showing as a sell as is the circa 1.25m shares earlier! Not what we ideally want to see!!

Maybe we’ll see some big US investors piling in. Doesn’t appear to have happened in Italy-but you never know! I however am not holding my breath!!

The fall from grace of this company, not helped in my view by a CEO who’s presentational skills are fairly dreadful, is close to alarming.
Clearly the City needs considerable reassurance that the company can actually produce their products before we even start to worry about selling and maybe one day even making a profit!
Could be a bumpy road.

As I anticipated, first RNS today (probably of several) from discontented Institutional shareholder taking the opportunity to dump stock on to “hoping to get rich quick” private investors sucked in by rumours of a sale. Who knows who will be right or wrong, but my money’s on this occasion on the professionals.

However-note that over 7m shares have already been sold today-possibly by already badly burnt Institutions taking the opportunity to take their substantial losses and dump stock. A buy out of this heavily loss making, ineptly managed, business is, I suspect very far from a foregone conclusion and I can’t see the savvy Bruce brothers rushing in to pay an excessive price.

Passes-with no news that the company can make public.
Little wonder that seemingly the only trade taking place daily is (relatively) private investor scraps with not a single suggestion of any Institutional buying. Unless the company can pull a few rabbits out of the hat, one wonders why the CEO would waste his time and shareholder money speaking to US Institutional investors when (supposedly) already aware European and Australian funds show not the slightest interest. The only logical conclusion (for me) is that the currently seemingly completely useless US company broker wants to appear to be doing something for their annual retainer.

One really questions the value of these private investor presentations. In an hour I learned nothing more about any of the company’s investments than I learn by following public announcements and reading these boards. Any difficult questions from discontented investors are of course filtered and ignored and as a consequence we PI’s simply continue to hold stock that trades miserably below asset value, are hit from time to time with the impact of discounted rights issues and are told that “investment into TEK is not for everyone-and that patience is necessary”. Never it seems was a truer word spoken.

80,000 bought.
Market really needs to hear the results of a strategic review much sooner than later.
In the meantime who in their right mind is going to pre-pay these guys for a service knowing that very soon they could easily no longer be trading?

Stephenfryup-does it occur to you that the shareholders (ex Axel Springer, the agenda for which remains a mystery) may be hanging in there, not because they have any enthusiasm for it, but simply because there are no buyers apart from a few “bottom fisher” private investors buying scraps.

Hope springs eternal that perhaps this will actually be the week when we’ll begin to see RNS announcements to confirm all the hope and expectation that support this loss making company having a material market cap-but yet again we start off simply reading Terry’s wonderful in depth industry comments-with from the company-nothing! I attended the Company’s London presentation a few months ago and fully understand and agree that the company can not make announcements about deals until they actually are signed sealed and delivered-but the strong suggestion was made that major contracts, driven by the timing of regulatory requirements were expected in early course-but still we all wait. Frustrating for everyone.

Clearly the end game is now all about Axel Springer’s intentions having been represented on the board all the time that the company has deteriorated to a complete basket case, recently supported the inept unsuitable Chairman, and presumably will want to try and do something to salvage any return from their huge (and incredibly stupid) investment.

Perhaps the reason is that she hasn’t got any relevant experience to have the first idea how to run this business-further illustrated by her idiotic idea that a “new” financial services division (which MANY much better agency businesses fail to operate profitably) would be a salvation-whilst the much more promising lettings division appears to being left to wither on the vine-or get sold off.
You couldn’t make it up!!

The totally unsuitable senior management of this business have more chance of being struck by lightening than they have of delivering a cash positive result in 2024. Unless the Germans, who bizarrely voted to maintain the status quo when the Chairman was challenged a few months ago, come to the table with an offer, the business will simply continue to bleed cash until the shutters come down.

Confess to being completely non-pluses. 800,000 more shares purchased in the day than sold-but the SP is marginally marked down. Have no conspiracy theories but the movements in the SEE SP often seem to buck what a logical person would assume to be +/- adjustments based on buy/sell numbers.
