I would say buy now. There is still upside to Orph, if there wasn't it would not be 40% of my portfolio and that upside is at least partly tied to ""this process" and the proposed spinoffs; though I think there is also some upside in the increasing profitably of the core busines. I think that element will potentially take us to 50p over next month but underpinned now by optimism over the spinoffs which IMHO now represent a modest 5- 10p of the share price.
Until the next catalyst I think we will trade in a 40 - 46p range so buy on any dips, 40p must now be seen as a support level/ buy signal unless circumstances change..
The spinoffs/China/Buyout/DiM might take us to £1+ or even £2 but the timescales and certainties become greyer for that. But it's a very real possibility. Crucially the share has demonstrated very real resilience and the downside must be seen as limited.
All of course IMHO/DYOR/NAI
LWL
I would say its results next.
We have to be patient on the launches and DIM is going to be a slow burner IMO, all the work OO are doing now with the extra variety of trials they are taking on board will boosts DiMs value.
I can see it remaining part of OO and potentially becoming it's biggest division.
For the next few weeks we are in a 40 - 45p trading range IMO and that's fine.
Jump to 50p will be when people see the profitability leap in the current core business. Possibility of a DiM contract sure but you are dealing with BIG clients, they will take their own sweet time.
You will be fine, very unlucky to buy at 47p but would not be at all surprised to find you into profit by the end of the week or even later today.
My personal target is £1.05 which I consider realistic over 12 months. Read these boards including postings by trader_3 many informative and helpful folk on here, you will soon work out who they are
I've had my doubts about DiM because I've always thought there's a limit to how much data a smartwatch with one biological sensor(heart rate) can use.
But a recent article made me think the the real money won't be in consumer watches but in the healthcare systems "internet of things" with added value provided for a huge range of more specialist devices, sensors and wearables.
I do think this is a slow burner that will need years to mature but could be the biggest of the lot eventually, very much a LTH
Just turned that down
40p can't be far off
Sweet little RNS tomorrow would give us a nice FridayFOMO weekend pop
He said they were "out" then. "below 3%" so not quite finished. I'd say by end of May they will be gone, but no longer a serious drag. Developments have obviously been timed to match up to this
Yeh, thanks Scooby

Consequently the price will spike to 60p as a result.
How's that for optimism?
Except it's easier to predict the asteroid !
If you're worried about a market slump you shouldn't really be in the market
Focus on fundamentals, maybe avoid overpriced stock lol
It's never not an issue
Fair point
They'd just sign a deal for updates surely
One thought I had is that a big area for growth for OO is branching out into CHIMS and OTHER diagnostic and more varied testing work on a much wider range of diseases and therapies
Over time there is huge capacity for expansion. One of the best business models in pharma in my view is earning royalties for supporting medical development without being exposed to the huge risks of a "failed drug"
See Maxcyte and Avacat (sp?)
This in turn broadens the data we can sell.
OO is not just a bagger it's a real long term hold, a pension portfolio pick.
Yes. NASDAQ
Reminded me of past grumbles about our broker
There's a good reason CF has not addressed this easy fix ??
