"Based on the timing indications received from Acta's partners, it is anticipated that the first telco approved product certifications for the Acta Power will be granted early in the second quarter of 2014, with network evaluation contracts to follow shortly thereafter" Looks like they are waiting for the "partners" to dot the I's and cross the T's. Overall this is a very positive update, lets not forget Acta have a lot of previous experience winning contracts and running a successful business (Photovoltaics). The fall out from the Italian government PV tariff was a big blow that sent many companies under, what did Acta do?......... they picked themselves up and got on with other things to turn the business around.

Maybe they have enough on there plate with other contracts/trials. Dont forget they already have the Uk domestic turbine trial with Clean Power announced back in May, that could bring in a lot of orders alone. Would be nice to know whats happening with all the other trials aswell, Taiwan, Philippenes, Australia, Africa...............We must be due some news soon

Dont think Acta will tie themselves to any exclusive deal (unless its a huge one) they have set out their stall now and are ready and waiting for the big orders to come in.

In hindsight I should have popped out and back in again (well done to those who did and made some profit) I decided to hang in because it looks like someone has the dyson out..............with all the huge late reported trades the last few days!! We must be due a holding RNS soon?

£1.8m late trades on friday showing as sells, they are most likely buys as the dates are from 16th and 17th when the SP was less.

My LT is a few years old but is a turion X2 so works on 64 bit. (dont think thats the problem) Barclays told me the java update was the problem specifically with them and lots of people were having the same problems, they talked me through a solution to uninstall the new java update but that didnt work. They sent me a link (see below) the windows 7 option worked for me. http://java.com/en/download/help/uninstall_java.xml Hope this helps atb

It depends what you call a big buy! There have been a good few what look like buys of 25k shares and some larger ones. I wouldnt be suprised to see some large late reported trades (that will look like sells). We wont get to know about any director trades until after the event, say up to a few days later! On the one hand if we get an RNS showing large director buys it would show a vote of confidence by them, on the other if we dont see them buying large amounts at bargain basement prices it could be seen as a negative.............or would it be that they are not allowed to buy atm? Im not sure what the regs are during a takeover or buyout situation?? All I know really is that the SP got hammered twice over because the bod have been honest and said things are not quite as good as they were last year, but when you look at last year it was an exceptional year for the company. "Someone" set the opening price on Wedensday at a crazy marked down price to 76p (from memory) that was ridiculous IMO and tantamount to daylight robbery. Glad some of you have had the sense to get back in (or top up) after being slung out in such an undignified manner!!! GLA
