Mali LMLB has no say in operating the mine. Also Mali pays nothing towards OPEX. That's why the arbitration initiated by BA preserves Kodal balance sheet. Yes KMUK will be cashed up EOY but it's only 49% Kodals. Even so stage 2 expansion doesn't need to be paid in advance. Cash revenues from shipments should be enough for working capital into 2027.

I agree badomen but not under the current circumstances and certainly not under while JV arbitration being disputed. BA has hinted that stage 2 expansion funding is his main financial priority EOY.

15M Arbitration a reality I am just saying it would complicate any hostile takeover from Hainan. Also it puts the breaks on BA spending 15M GBP on another asset which inturn could cause shareholder dilutiion.

BA has approx 15 million pounds in the Kodal account. Time needs this to play out for Kodal shareholders. EOY 2026 will see a JV big bank balance.

Arbitration a blessing in disguise. Saves Bernard Aylward spending on a new project. It's also stops further shareholder dilutiion. Probably stops Hainan from buying out Kodal. 12 to 18 months to play out the arbitration. KMUK will have a big fat piggy bank.

Maybe now 75 Million USD in LMLB account after 3rd shipment. Mali government would of paid 4.3 million USD for their 25% stake from revenues. Seems to me Kodal share of net profits after operating expenses, royalties and taxes could be in the region of 25 million to 30 m USD by EOY 2026. That's a SP catalyst IMHO.

Arbitration yes but still roughly 15million GBP in Kodal London account. Certainly gives a decent runway.
