CATL lithium battery prices (due to economy of scale and Chinese government integration) maintain profitability, (lepidolite mining is a swing producer in mainland China) subsidised by the Chinese government. A significant price drop in lithium carbonate has impacted CATL revenue and operating income, despite sales volume growth. Yeah with the float, May 20th good timing as lithium seasonality demand picks up historically by midyear. There was a interesting Ganfeng video released last I will post the link afterwards really worth watching. Ganfeng CEO states indirectly that China building out its BESS, hence the Chinese government integration of lepidolite mining and recycling. BESS only commercially viable for China government with economy of scale bringing the lithium prices down below Western lithium miners cost curve as of today's current prices. As the CEO of Ganfeng states there will be a time when prices will rise in the near-term hence China ore stockpiling. Atlantic Lithium will be better offering all their tons to the markets, a better deal.

Ghana’s government should give good concessions knowing the present lithium price dynamics. Most price reporting agencies (FastMarkets, Benchmark Minerals) predict spodumene over 1200 UST by 2028.

Chinese government subsidies downstream intergration (lepidolite) for chemical conversion in China in the pretext of keeping demand subdued inturn pushing lithium pricing downwards near the cost curve of most WA upstream hard rock spodumene producers Pilbara Minerals etc. Chinese lithium companies wouldn't be paying royalty fees!

All depends on long-term vision of future strategic investors / offtake partnering in this present volatile turbulent market. Seriously Atlantic major hurdle is MIIF, praying that they take up their past obligations.

Atlantic SP crashed due to the Ghanaian elections. If ratification happened as Neil Herbert stated last year Atlantic Lithium balance sheet certainly would be reflected in today's SP, 30p with MIIF 29 million AUD.

As far as Ghanaian Parliament resumes, surely cant be to far away, we will see general business that leads to ratification that includes positive concessions. However hoping the fall in spodumene doesn't dampen enthusiasm as its seems to be manipulation.

All reports for April show EV sales in China, Europe, UK and rest of the world surging to new highs month on month compared to 2024. Spodumene price downtrending recently back to lows of 750UST. Interesting to see how low and how long price is suppressed by China before a balanced market returns. Price really sucks but demand is relentless.

This lease is subject to ratification by Parliament when it reconvenes on 16 May 2025.

Dates bounded around but mid May seems to be when 9th Parliament of Ghana 🇬🇭 resumes. If ratification occurs with concessions to Atlantic original agreement be a catalyst. MIIF automatically afterwards should take up allotment of ALL shares bringing into play a 200M MC or 20 pence per share.

Obviously MIIF gives Atlantic a massive runway to the balance sheet. Piedmont merge co will have to cough up their outstanding debts or maybe they will decide to walk away allowing for a new strategic partnership.

Atlantic uncertainty will start to provide clarification.

So basically Piedmont paying 50% of what their congratual agreement states until ratification occurs.

Cash at the end of the March quarter stood at A$8.1 million, a level Atlantic said allows it to continue progressing towards a final investment decision without needing immediate new funding. IMO new funding would be another cash raise if no new funding happens this year. I agree with your sentiment this stock been deemed a suckered stock, sucking in investors more and more on the back of pending ratification and eventual FID since July last year. Yeah on top of recent spodumene prices falls this has been a knock on effect for all lithium equities but Atlantic drop is massive compared to its status as a shovel ready projects. Pressure building on Ghana parliament to act bloody it involves decent concessions with MIIF on board as per previous agreement not at Atlantic lower 2025 share price.
