It's a small float share. Can you see an II accepting such a small rigged free float sp to be used to value thr much larger II holdings? Its not a normal situation wherew there is a large liquid traded pool

He runs a very big risk now that if he rolls his shares and those of his buddies and does a low offer on shares he doesn't control he is in a conflict of interest and breach of fiduciary duty
The chair makes the recommendation but then again that's a tough one too as he is still locked in he gimp cellar since he joined so.how could he be trusted

The " 170p significantly undervalues the business " was a board statement based on recommendation from its advisors so is much stronger than a moulding comment and so clearly sets a hard line at 250. Anything less makes the word significant meaningless

Mouldings other fundamental flaw as a CEO is trust. Most of what he says on forecasts and promises he has failed on. The Q4 miss was incompetent on such a fundamental level
No CEO of juinior manager gets away with that!

I'm sure most bought.longs on recent price ramp.up

In fact the total open declared shorts were 70m 2weeks ago own to 38m if memory is right so alot of hedging longs must have been opened during recent climb and now they are using them to close out their own shorts

If this is true alot of short closing has been done when you net off

Think.its called a saddle hedge but the expert brokers on here will know best

Wonder how much of the 38m open shorts and other undeclared short are already covered by longs.

No now they won't as its closed before deadline

They were never as net short as we thought. Probably hedged it by buying longs last 2 or 3 months but left short open and simply closed the short by selling their own long this week.

It's only way or they would have to gave bought 15m on market and price would have shot up

You may be right they were hedged so had longs open to and used them to close the shorts cant see how else they did it.

So the net short position overall ( after netting off the sane holder longs) was not as big as we thought

MW gone from 1.5% to 0.5% in 3 days that's 15m shares bought.

How on earth due that stack up I just can't see that's level of buying not shifting price. How are they getting sellers at this volume
