We are in a good position. Its a safe Stock in stormy waters providing inflation lowers. Interest rates lower and 10 year guilts dont spike. Some correction after a good run was inevitable especially given trump. Tbh I'd like it a bit lower when I re invest.my divi but I dont think that will happen after expected good results amd large buy back volume kicking in

Its risky as you need to cover the spread difference, broker fees and stamp duty. Brst go.long and not trade it

I see no reason why lgen divi is 1/3 higher than peers given the very strong divi quality and buy back reducing share count

I dint see why it can't drop to 6% yield on line with peers = 360p

If you buy now you lock in the elevated yield (great) and gain from any capital gains as price riseses and yield reverts to norm. Its a great unique window of opportunity imho

Its the solid yield. Given how well covered it is and so low risk it is unusually high which is the attraction. I fully expect it to revert to long-term 6% especially with interest rates expected to drop and the reduction in shares due to buy back plus 2% inflation covered and how out of synch with peers it is

The bigger issue is why are the other sp so high abd ields lower around 6% normal. Its more those that look overvalued certainly not lgen on a relative bases

Why not buy legal and general at 8% solid divi cover dividend growth committed and underpinned and massive buy back which will grow EPS and SP? There is no better divi play

I really can't understand people in here going on about share price This is a yield buy not a growth stock and the lower the price the higher the yield and the more stock can be bought on reinvestment

Personally fone heavy LGEN with my SIPP based on its not had a simular share orice run up and highest divi since so more covered for move up here with kess down side risk. Plus big caputal rtn as they are biting books like PHNX. Others seem toppy at minute but then I look at AVIVA and stateside life/insurance stcks at less than 4% and see they all.have upside

Im vealing all.the rules here kind ove maxed here all my sipp but reason being highest divi out of bills 4 plus its got some growth catch up as its behind the other 3 fir no real reason.

Now its tipped in times expect 25 to 40% growth plus 8.5% divi. And 5bn buy back [ thats a massive 30%] Even if didn't get all that i expect 2026 to be a v good year here on the downsides case even.

Pace you aare incorrect. I researched this with the help of AI and the averaged drop over 10 years is not more than the divi. Infsct the recovery is quick and it makes zero sense to play the divi given recovery risk shate price spread and stamp duties

1. We've had the lowest rerate. Peere to peer would mean 300.to 400 range. Not massively concerned though as ....

2. Highest of the yields now and with every buy or divi reinvested

3. Buy back 5bn out of 14.1bn. market cap. A fair bit of AI research and modelling shows min 40% to max 90% rtn over next 2.5 years

4. Additional market growth and cost reduction initiatives driving EBIT

All.in all.i think this is the best pick
