In summary anything associated with a public market in my view is off thecrabke with MM its just nit his skillset nor his bag nor his he making any attempt to rectify the issues

So it's uwn to MBO or sell ro VC, sovereign wealth or industry player. Given his love of the business and his cashing in personal assets its still and MBO for me

B1nky your opinion would be more credibly if you backed it up by some evidence or logic. Something anything just a snippet even a mere morsel will do to get you on 1st step

Market is wrong on many occasions hence value investors. Just look at BP to see a value play it was 3x. Loolnat ocardo. Look at where we are now. Market gets is very wrong both ways. Look at dotcom. Bubbles and bottoms always exist. Please dont buy into FTSe is the perfect markt theory

As CEO he can't just sit on such a massive value gap . He really has to deliver now. He needs to prove he can or someone else will as he's turned big value uplifts. Simllply h delivers it or others will so lets see why moulding

AS1 there is no better bargain on the FTSe now on all peer comparators there will be an mark to value event soon but none of us have any idea what it will be but the options are numerous. It won' be at this price fur long

The whole purpose of his role is to create and realise shareholder value. That's his job abdnsd when the SP is 100p but sum of parts is 250p ( which I think is crap by the way the sector multiples value it at least 700p) then he has a duty to.unlock that value to us IIs,charities, friends, family staff

The other big indicator sort of forgotten about was the big give away of shares to staff last year and his personal 3m shares to charities perfectly timed and ready for the imminent value unlocking capital event

SP yes you missed sovereign wealth fund. SImilar to PE but would buy with much longer indefinite horizon plus they are actively targeting our sector

Stressfull i agree we will smash guidance. With all the changes to bfix the old issues build tryst and sort governance a guidance miss just won't and can't happen. The reputational damage with be too much for the new team. They aren'tthat stupid. Recent update re affirmed guidance

Really can't see it the sector is booming in a great growth cycle conditions are perfect to make money and this is also reflected in strong multiples for respect deal multiple valuations. If it happens and they miss guidance would be terrible start for saunders. they wouldn't mess it up after 2022 shocker. Trust building on hitting guidance is now so critical for THG and the CFO and binning the last terrible CFO and the issues he had on guidance misses.

Hmm. That would be a howler. Whith recent reporting businesses showing a very strong growth some absolutely smashing it against guidance in the beauty sector and analysts stating 9% CAGR it would be a worry if THG aren't delivering also

I can't see saunders having a warning to deliver in his first big update though agaibst his own guidance he is too seasoned for that. If it does happen though it would be a real big f#ck up for him and a blow I'm nkt sure he could recover from after the kitchen sink clean up last year and his first big test. They have soent slot of eeffirt in rebuilding trust amd credibility in what they forward guide so that would be a huge backward step. New Credible CFOs don't really make mistakes like that

AS1 not dis similar to you pal.been around for similar time as you also. In a good profit now but strongly believe the real correction to value yet to come.

2022 was a testing time with some real shooting yourself in foot moments at THG but that is in the past now. As a value investor you do get tested when you think.you called the bottom and it tanks. Same happened in BP you just got to roll with it and if case and convictions for investing remaind strong average down otherwise you end up losing money

The 65% investors now excellent calibre as are the board additions over last 18 months. These people have looked deep into THG far far deeper than any of us can, they know what they are doing and banked big money or Premier league careers and reputations with the business

I've no issue with contrarian views. It's much needed and challenge is a good thing plus his challenges do seem fair and asked by others on this board.

FFS why is he getting involved with this when there are so many opportunities in the core business for him to drive hard on.

Why add more unrelated parts when there already is a sum of parts value gap, seems very dumb to me. I'd rather he used his time and resources to focus focus focus on unlocking the huge value in ingenuity with some whales

What will it be, what would have the biggest impact

1. Leave the LSE UK and follow ARM and possibly shell to the US listing

2. List ingenuity in the US

3. Drop a bomb on the shorts by announcing an MBO at 300p +

4. Sbashing q2 guidance and announcing a premium listing

5. Announcing a viable VC takeover

6. Announcing a privatisation deal with gulf sovereign fund

7. Do nothing and keep 250m in bank

One of these will happen. The status quo won't exist for much longer he hates it abd its deliver fxxck all in value to.investors but which will it be and which would be give him the loudest lsst laugh

There is no chance saunders (and new neda) will have set himself up for a fail he is too good for that
