I doubt this is the "News" Paul talked about - as it was linked to licensing the IP.
What this does say is that SEE are now working with Qantas, Emirates, Fedex Express, Toll Helicopters, RAAF, L3 Tech and a host of others not get confirmed.

I don't recall any other provider stating this amount and quality of collaboration. I'm sure some of our competitors would be jealous.

It's all about the handover, handback.
This is the most critical point of a car knowing is the driver there, awake and available to resume control.
A car in real eyes off mode doesnt need to track the drivers eyes but when it needs to handback......

Good news for SEYE today as they have a follow on order with an existing customer.
Remember that SEE didn't bid for the original contract so its congrats to SEYE.

Its also a compliment that SEYE investors join this BB but nobody from this BB join the SEYE BB.

Paul has mentioned before and also in this interview how they are looking at licensing the IP out.
He says it will be licensed to others for very specific domains and uses. He says it negates the need then for SEE to set up a section or unit for this and hence no costs involved in production or otherwise.

We have the sections already set up but aviation is believed to be the prime candidate for licensing.

Im just wondering if he may be referring to other uses of our IP in areas that SEE haven't explored due to costs, focus and staff hence license it out with no capital expenditure issues.

Perhaps VR, mobile phones, medical, robotics etc could be possible areas now being considered where someone else does the production and heavy lifting.?

S7, Paul has used the term monitise and leverage about IP several times before.

Please keep up or at least read or listen more closely.

Some very good questions coming out guys. I expect PM to deal with a few before the webinar in the finals and FY20 indication. However i dont suspect all will be obvious so the questions to be sent by S2020 on our behalf are very important.

What remit have they been given?
Is their focus on USA only or full corporate promotion.?

JC, the update on fleet for FY20 should at least give us a decent update on the number of new contracts that people keep finding.
Even if they aren't big, and some are, SEE could be making use of media formats to say here's another one...

This is personal opinion.

The thing to remember about the aviation FFS sector potential market, isn't just about the 50+ new (my guess) SIMs being built each with the hope of SEE kit installed pre-delivery.

So SEE are talking about not only installation at factory but also the retrofit market. I hadn't really grasped this.

So we know we have a tie up with L3 (via the OEM Qantas and others no doubt) and we are waiting on news from Emirates which will probably give us a tie up with CAE.

In 2018 the market share by simulator manufacturer was as follows (note this is Civil only doesn't inlcude military);
Total FFS SIMS - 1300
CAE 56%
L3 20%
FSI 10%
Others 14%

So if we have some sort of tie up with CAE and L3 that would be 76% and I assume the others will be talking to SEE as well.

Bear in mind it is the OEMS - Singapore, Emirates, Qantas, United, Lufthansa etc who will require the T1s to supply the kit, and as FFS lifetimes are long then if they want the functionality then they will have to retrofit.

Also don't forget the Air Traffic Control systems worldwide !

between ATC and FFS it's a big market to go for.
