These trades are at 13.09 yet L2 was at 3.60 and stayed there at least one hour. L2 never dropped sub 4.40 at anytime whilst these were visible.
So agreement to shift these cheaply at 4.35 from someone to? Who bought these. Wasn't PIs at these vols.

The mistake you are making is your belief that SEE bid for all business. If you had attended CMD day you would know that SEE only bid for profitable business., unlike your company.
So if other T2s announce wins in 2019 the reason could be SEE either didn't bid or they could be for China where hardware agnostic (software) may not be thr ideal business decision.
My opinion of course and DYOR.

Yes DR7 agreed, only go for profitable business makes a lot of sense.

SGreen - I agree I see it as an expansion - why would you combine 2 bits of news like this into the one press release if they are not related. Even a day or two in between would have been much better from a PR point of view so I suspect SEYE are telling everyone this is part of the alliance.

SEE only enter a bid if the contract stated is profitable - we have been told that often enough and it was reinforced several times at CMD. Anyone that doesn't accept that logic will have an issue if other T2's announce wins for Gen1 systems.

There's no point spending the time and resource chasing very small margin wins unless Auto is the only business you are in. To my knowledge SEYE haven't announced much in the fleet, aviation and off-road areas of work - which are the areas that will fund SEE to profitability and get tto he income from auto.

It's interesting that SEYE are quite happy to tell the market of the wins they are getting but haven't updated the market in their unsuccessful RFQs for Gen2 systems. After all who was that said "It should be mentioned though that BMW is a very demanding customer, i.e. if you can make it at BMW, you can make it anywhere. "

There is no need to panic if SEYE or Mitsubishi Sanda win contracts - it's also odd that some only post here when SEYE win something - not a squeak about anything else. Of course DYOR

Guys i think the legislation about advanced DMS gives the OEMs a little more time, probably another year or so, however the legislation is nailed on. Anyway EuroNcap kills this all stone dead in 2022.

SeeingTom - yes what a difference between the Mar 2018 meeting and this one. I think because of the lack of newsflow I was expecting about 25 people there and mostly PIs but it certainly was a eye opener when the likes of Sanjay from Panmure turned up - he's the guy who said SEE should ditch everything and focus only on Auto. I expect from the presentations he's coming round to the idea that fleet is fixed and profitable and Aviation could be a giant.

Pat was so tuned in for aviation to be (as he put it) the third leg of the stool and give the others a run for their money.

Isb1974, there were a number of timescales discussed in private conversations but you will appreciate the fact that people wont give them here. The usual suspects on this BB will only count down to the times given and b i t c h about timescales not being met etc etc .

Yes Phil single pilot planes are 20 years away (if at all). But monitoring of pilots in planes to assess fatigue and event recording and black box analysis means SEE tech in the flight decks of planes. Now if that happens you will be long gone.
