Thanks Brock for the fleet data. The fleet numbers for June2021 were indeed 27k but this advisory was withdrawn by SEE due to the uncertainty of Covid. CENKOS revised their estimates twice and recalculated revenue for the company as a whole based on savings and other factors which we know about. Their current estimate looks reasonable and on track or to be exceeded. If the Cenkos numbers are hit revenue is as Cenkos explain and what has been a tough year for the whole world will mean SEE can kick on.
I only point this out so our green blob friends who suffer from dysthymia keep working on the wrong numbers.
RE: What’s next for driver and occupant monitoring systems?17 Jun 2020 19:15
TLS, good point...... we don't need a sample database, we have 4 billion km of diverse edge cases to train our systems on, that is why they are trusted.
It appears that the hands-free system will be rolled out after they are delivered to customers via OTA (over the air updates). So this implies that each car produced will leave the factory with a SEE chip inside it - now don't know if DMS standard will be implemented at production or when the hands-free is realeased - but the point is either way the chip will be in it!
So what do we know - Ford are using the SEE FOVIO chip. SOP in USA is this year. SOP in Europe early 2021.
