So the system checks outwardly and if there is a perceived problem it checks if the driver is looking at the problem. If not then the car takes evasive action.....
Complex but seems where the tech is heading.

Tesla are pretending the community are 'asking for it'.
But the camera is that old it wont work for DMS. Originally it was said it was to be used when Tesla owners rented out their cars (remember that) to earn money. It was there so owners could find out later who trashed their cars....
