I have been in contact with Veoneer and they are to check if it was a shading issue and let me know. But they have confimed that they have 2 DMS customers.

Yes just checked redeye report and small print under a table says they assume 7 year life cycle. The win states 150m SEK but they come up with "but if we win all platforms" it goes to 2bn SEK. Could we multiply our wins by the same???

Patrickt, Not sure on what they base their figures but if it is Hyundai and they get Kia as well since it is owned then thats about 8m cars a year. I think SEYE have in the past talked about a lifecycle of 7 years. So what are they assuming? 100% uptake and over 7 years?

Yeah it would be great to change a colour here soon. I did contact Veoneer and they have confimed that they will continue to provide updates using the table/chart that we have seen before - just wouldn't confirm when the next one will be published...perhaps tomorrow.

Right - now you are actually stating issues.

We actually don't know who SEE are in RFQ with. We do assume it is the OEMs like VAG, FCA and all the Japanese OEMs. Ford surely can be also classed as a high volume mid class OEM which was won very quickly.

I guess Toyota or a VAG win would as some have said be equivalent to x2 or x3 some of these mid OEMs. Volume is important and SEE seem to be getting a mix of volume and high end OEMs which I expect to continue.

I think the term mid OEM is misleading - the big volume OEMs are the big 9 and SEE are doing Ok so far.

A very good OEM - BMW is leaving SEYE. They have JLR, Geely, BMW (to go), Audi (probably to go) and I cant remember the other one. Now I do expect them to win others - perhaps Chinese and some other OEMs were cost and not quality is what they want. It remains to be seen once NCAP issue the guidance on how they will be testing DMS to see if those OEMs have made the correct decision.

But you believe that OEMs will make a decision not based on technical excellence but on the BOD.

Again - I wouldn't be invested here if I wasn't confident - IF you are still invested here, why are you? It's not logical to invest in something you don't think will work.

If I didn't have confidence in where we are going and the changes that have been made in the past 6 months to rectify the issues then I wouldn't be wasting my time invested in this company

I guess anyone can look backwards - it's really easy to do. If you believe that the future is bright then stay - but based on your research (if you have done any) you believe the future is as cold as a leftover fishpie then why bother. Your choice, nobody elses.

Keep looking back if you want the stress of that, or put your feet up and wait for the dice to roll. Oh and by the way - yes I do think a fund raise may happen soon - the sooner the better - but I expect thereafter stabilty and progress.

Just my opinion of course and DYOR.

How embarrassing is it for an OEM to put something substandard into a car and suggest it monitors distraction or falling asleep.

You really have to think that Subaru if they keep getting this type of press will want to replace their DMS system with something that actually works.

To the best of my knowledge GM have had no complaints about SuperCruise and I think both Nick and Alex Roy confirmed that on the interview at CES 2019.
