Gonna need a bigger boat19 Feb 2019 11:18
Certainly looking at the wins so far the potential revenue income is massive which is hidden in the numbers being quoted.
Based on the data available - the signficant things to note are the speed at which OEMs can implement DMS into cars using the FOVIO chip - note the last 3 wins have been using the chip and the implemetation dates are under 2 years away.
These are all the proposed Model launches
GM - 2020
Merc - 2020
Ford - 2020 Chip
Byton - 2019/20 Chip
FCA Chrysler - 2020 Chip
BMW - 2021
The market hasn't a clue.
Thurday EU legislation - expect the advanced may be shelved but safety DMS will get voted in which is good.
Perhaps a fundraise/strategic investor soon to sort out the finances, get it over with and batten down the hatches as 2020 seems to be the year.
2019 will bring more DMS awards and once in the bag, for the next several years I don't think income will be an issue.
Perhaps a takeover may happen but it'll be on terms that SEE believe are suitable.
All my opinion of course DYOR.
I have assumed it is Aptiv with the FCA Chrysler win.
