The L3 FFS which is the first with eye tracking built in is to be delivered to the new Qantas training facility opening in June.
I assume there will be a contract for use signed with Qantas before that.
Emirates is a cert so it should be signed soon.
S2020 in the RNS to launch BdMS it was stated that..... "Seeing Machines has signed an agreement with one customer and is in advanced discussions with a number of companies at the forefront of autonomous vehicle development."
Probably about time that the agreement turned into a formal contract?
I think that Japan is critical. Having big wins in US, Europe and Japan would cement SEE as the primary DMS provider for both safety and ADAS functionality. Whilst we all believe it here the markets need to catch up - in the meantime top ups no matter how small at these levels is prudent.
Toyota, Honda,Nissan would be exceptional but doable.
Thanks Red/S2020 I think if we are in a CAT type deal - nothing to suggest we are or are going to go into one yet then the $30 is what we get. But as S2020 says - there should be a lump sum somewhere to help.
If we are not then then $75 ish sounds about right - and with 14,500 (nearly) units connected and growing it all helps the bottom line. Revenue from fleet was probably based on about 7,500 units for the last year end
- BUT I agree with everyone here we have no idea what is going on with fleet until SEE tell us - hopefully a full update very soon.
Anyone any idea of what the monitoring revenue per unit is? We tend to use the Cenkos "theorectial" amount of $30 but that was based on a CAT type deal which hasn't been confirmed - it was a lot higher than $30 I seem to recall??
So if/when a fundraise happens, what could the impact be down the line on the SP.
I'm coming at this from the point of view of what the MCAP could/should be worth once OEMs make a decision this year and we get more news on aviation, rail and fleet has stabilised and revenue income from monitoring is growing.
IF SEE raise say £15M @ 5p then that puts another 300m shares in the market to add to the 2.359bn out there. So now we would have 2.659Bn.
Based on market cap - in my opinion I am assuming low but at that say we have a market cap of £500M.
So based on the before and after shares in issue:- £500M MCAP Before, SP - 21.2p After, SP - 18.8p
IF the MCAP is £750M Before, SP - 31.8p After, SP - 28.2p
I do expect at least these sorts of MCAP figures at some point once we see what the state of play is in 2020 and beyond. So a £15M raise now in my opinion won't kill the SP down the line.
This is of course my opinion and I do know that some here will see these as far too low and some will see them as far too high. Personally it's a steal at current value of SP 5p.
Starts 7th with press days 5th and 6th.

Thanks thepost1 for trawling through both this and previous patents to get more info on what SEE are up to.
I had a quick look at this one and it seems to be a method of more accurately determining actual facial features as opposed to getting an approximation using modelling methods. It seems to be able to get a 3D facial read (pixel phase processing) but without having to use more than the standard camera system which keeps costs down I assume.
It also talks about facial recognition which we expect the updated SEE tech to be able to do going forward as it will I assume be used for both security and customisation work.
terrym, I'm cautious on this one. Its very close to production and if anyone won a contract they would have had to disclose it to the markets.
Sounds like an internal dms for that reason but clues point to SEE so an RNS tomorrow would be fine.
SEE are adding additional enhancements this year such as mouth tracking and others.
Ken posted this on linkedin with reference to the new BMW due 2021.
Not far into the future, our cars will be able to better interpret what we want from them.
'The arrival of high-availability and high-fidelity eye and mouth tracking work in combination with voice and hand/finger gesture input systems by knowing where the driver is looking and if the driver is talking.'
