Lawrence13, Strukov was financed to buy POG’s shares in Gazprombank, and he pays a fine to bank if the SP goes down. Strukov hoped to solve his problems with POG’s cash flow, but Denis doesn’t give him such an opportunity.Because of Strukov's large debts to bank, Ugold falls victim to the acquisitions by Polymetal, Polyus and maybe Highland.
Strukov was dissatisfied with the POGs results 1Q and Aleksandrov's disobedience. Also, in august we will say goodbye to J.Cameron on RGM and welcome new CEO.

One of the shareholders of Petropavlovsk told Interfax that the structures of Ugold voted against Aleksandrov at the meeting. According to Petropavlovsk's rules, if the CEO has not received the support of shareholders as a member of the board of directors, he must also leave the CEO's post

This is KPMG’s ad placed on a google search engine. Collects gossip and rumors. Wondering how much KPMG services cost for structured gossip and bank statement comments in their report?
The notary at the AGM of the Pokrovsky mine will be the notary of the russian company Polyus (tycoon mr.Kerimov Suleman).
Name of the notary - Bokuchava Revaz Avtandilovich.
Amazingly, there was no worthy notary within the radius of the Moscow office of the Pokrovsky mine?

Murat Aliyev's Bonum Capital fund sold 2.9% of the gold mining company Petropavlovsk to the structures of the main owner of the company, the family of Konstantin Strukov. This was reported to RBC by two sources close to the deal. “The deal took place on Friday, June 18, Bonum Capital sold its stake because it does not see any growth prospects for the company,” one of the interlocutors explained.
Bonum Capital's package, according to one of the sources, was priced at a 15% premium to the price on the London Stock Exchange on Friday. Thus, the fund received about £ 34 million for its stake, or $ 47 million. It bought this stake by Bonum Capital in July 2020 - at that time such a package, based on stock quotes, could cost about £ 30.8 million ($ 43 million).
Before this transaction, the Strukov family owned 24% of Petropavlovsk, now they received a blocking stake (26.9%)
Lustiger's longtime acquaintance is the American lawyer James Cameron Jr., who never had anything to do with the mining industry or even the London Stock Exchange, but who, unexpectedly for everyone, headed the board of directors of Petropavlovsk.
The major shareholder of Petropavlovsk behind the change of leadership is Chelyabinsk billionaire Konstantin Strukov, whose company Yuzhuralzoloto, with a very scandalous reputation, has been mentioned several times in the press in the last year alone in connection with tax evasion and environmental violations. Strukov's partner on the board of shareholders is Nikolai Lustiger, or rather Nick Solomon Lustiger, as this citizen of the United States and Malta is now called in the Western manner. As a consultant, Nick Solomon worked with officials of the US State Department, oversaw projects of large transnational corporations, and was also an adviser to the former Chelyabinsk Governor Dubrovsky, who in 2019 was accused of embezzlement of the budget and is now hiding from a criminal case in Switzerland. Lustiger's longtime acquaintance is the American lawyer James Cameron Jr., who never had anything to do with the mining industry or even the London Stock Exchange, but who, unexpectedly for everyone, headed the board of directors of Petropavlovsk.
kenj,I changed my mind after the trip. Strangely, but nowhere in RNS it's said about the Elga and Tokur. As the local warden-geolog(that area) told me "These two mine- bright future of POG".
Lawrence13, I'm just a novice investor. But I thought about buying small-scale alluvial gold mining company,
performance at a guess 5-6oz/day, my lunch money should be enough:-)

"Keep up the good work Lescrou and keep us all up to date with what you are finding with your metal detector over the coming weeks."
Ок, all right. This discussion board not my cup of tea....cheerio
Excuse my ill humor.
Freddie2, pox hub is burning now!
Yesterday I returned from a working trip. I visited the Malomyr mine, the Albyn mine and the new ore prospecting area ofYElga (Elginsky mine). The area itself is very promising for gold mining. It was interesting to walk along the creeks with a metal detector. Many interesting finds .... Here, see for yourself.

Maybe next week I'll record a video from the drone above the pox hub

Contrarian, thank you. As is known, that a principal assets located in Russia, Amur region. This summer elections for the governor of the region are scheduled. Leading candidate, protg of one of the largest precious metals companies in Russia(competitors of Petropavlovsk). It is likely, that the company will cut off the oxygen. For example, the environmental prosecutor's office on the command "go" will suspend mine-activity(often happens). Why are you so optimistic "Strong Buy"? Maybe, you're a Petropavlovsk PLC employee?
"The proposal (from shareholders) about the return seemed to me attractive, because I always believed that the company is undervalued," said Maslovskiy Reuters -the last interview of Pavel. it's like a HYIP around the company. After that, Rakishev and CABS Platform и Slevin( Maslovskiy) to cash out, selling their shares at a higher price.
"In the report it gives details of the PROVEN AND PROBABLE reserves. They have reserves for many years to come" If you trust these reports, you are a naive person. In Petropavlovsk has its own geological prospecting (a subsidiary of Regis), they will draw any nubers in the report. Probable reserves- this is a pig in a poke. As for proven resources- average content (g / t) is extremely low and hard-to-extract(unprofitable)
CABS & Slevin - Hambro and Maslovskiy......London, Moscow, Astana don't know, but the far east of Russia knows :)
