Just finished reading the RNS. Its all very encouraging and along the lines of what I thought the results would be. I am flabbergasted at the market reaction to this. But then, this is SDX!

Courtier, The reason Masterman gets scritised is becuase of his track record with SRON. I accept he may be doing wonders elsewhere, but with SRON hes been a disaster. He raised cash by asking a load of chaps to part with a great deal of cash to build an Italian centered full cycle oil and gas business, he then raises cash at below the initial fund raising, as he seemingly got his numbers wrong. He then backtracks on the development strategy, commissions a CPR that was never RNS'ed which downgrades the reserves. He then resigns, as if none of this had anything to do with him. He should have stayed and finished what he started, but we are led to believe he had personal family commitment in Australia as being a motivation (as well as the car crash that is SRON). Now, the issue is that these guys need to be accountable for what they say and do. I'm not going to go on moaning, as that benefits no one, but I feel like I have been mis-sold and want to return the product, but the problem is, they won't issue a full refund! GL chaps.

Why sell? Because they can take the money and run? These chaps are not oil men. They have little interest and knowledge of the asset they own. Yes, they could make more money by holding til post appraisal, but there is a risk involved with drilling high pressured condensate reservoirs! They could bag millions for 18 months work. All they had to do was a bit of sacking and some clever investing. Cash back, kerching! My money is on a sale.

You bought these at 20p, then come back years later to say 1.9p is a poor investment given we are days/weeks away from a farmout news. Hmm.

I'm not sure the point of making a post about chatter, if not to elucidate your thoughts on the matter. Simply attention seeking. My thoughts is that COC are going to go over 30 and make an offer, but this is nothing more than a hunch. They pay, say 56p, then sell the entire thing on to Lukoil for say 65p making an absolute killing in for 2 years work. Simple.
