I'm sorry, but i profoundly disagree. COC had their eyes on one thing; our cash.

Apart from hand a few people their P45 they have done nothing to put this cash to work and IMO a special divi shows a huge lack of imagination. Are management really saying the only way to increase shareholder returns is to give the money back? Pitiful.

A number of well-respected posters across various boards had been warning about these people from the get-go when they ousted Hart. Hart and his team didn't manage to deliver, but at least they had a whiff of aspiration.

Investing is hard. I'm all in on SDX with a 5 year horizon.

However, a key lesson i learnt from my DES days, never, ever fall in love with a share. If the story changes, sell and move on.

BLVN are an example of that. Crown Ocean Capital booted the BOD and turned the company into a different vehicle. I sold my enormous position and walked.

Why am i bringing up these companies from my past, well... I will be holding management to account to deliver what they say. So far, so good. Ignore the SP, buy the story, not the price.

On a serious note, very disappointing not to get an update or explanation as to why Stellar have pulled the GBP job from their site.

They must still have an instruction, as otherwise the company would have to say something. You end up in jail for misleading investors like that and I'm sure the Peters don't want to see out their final days in the slammer.

One would assume is that the deal will be value accretive for existing holders. Lets face it, Circle was a great bit of business. We have to trust the board to do good business on our behalf. No reason why they'd screw us.

Guys, can we stop the ramp-a-thon please?

Of late there have been more posts, which of course is welcome, but half of them are just silly ramps.

I am invested the expectation of an attractive farm out deal. Any sale could come at any time, I don't agree with you that the time is necessarily now.

This is one almighty guess.

Maybe the inverse is true, the would be happy to wait.

The only thing we know for sure is the mandate got removed and it hasn't re-appeared with another broker. So IMO, if Stella had failed the Peters would have at least re-issued the mandate elsewhere.

my personal view, having been a holder for all eternity (maybe not, just seems like that), is this is certainly not going back to 1.7 unless the company announce they have failed in their attempt to find a partner. This would seem doubtful as the mandate has been removed from the Stella site. So there would seem to be a deal in the offing.

When and what, who knows, but surely the Peters haven't taken GBP to this stage to sell for less than cash...
