I think this is just manipulation. If you look most sells are robot sells. I don't care too much about the drop. Results where known. No real surprises. 3 year turn around plan is on track. Licence sales are up and that will transfer to maintenance sales in a few years once the licences expire.

Debt reduced but every one is cut up on the fact the percentage vs revenue / profit increased. The overall number is down and that's what matters.

I assume they want to see evidence of the turn around and the last update didn't give them enough. City doesn't allow know what the results will look like

the market is having a crisis at the minute. I just wish i had spare cash to buy more shares but not good timing d:)

Indeed. Its not a large increase either so maybe just some quick cash to be made whilst volume is low and market is a mess. On the other boards I am on people all shouting off about rights issues, debt and massive losses bit it simply the shorts having some fun

The share price at the minute is nothing to do with poor management. Its called the stock market you genius. Some times shares drop. Please remember this you wally. lately what negative news is there? none bar the issue with potential lawsuit in the states. Everything positive but you are just too stupid to realise that.

I dont think i will add to my holding until we see the trade update. For now this looks to be dropping further so i would be more cautious on buys mate. Markets are up and Micro is down, just like the summer last year

IT is the place to be for next 10 years. The company I work for announced the biggest ever profits yesterday in Japan and from what I see the revenue dropped massively because of covid. But cost savings because of home working offset that. This type of situation will stay is my view so Micro should benefit from that

Yep the next trade update should be around mid May, or closer to the end. Was 19th last year.

I do think it will be positive. In the Feb RNS they said that they had kept up the momentum on revenue in the 1st quarter so hopefully that means an increase on the same period last year. That would be a strong statement.

Simple way..people borrow shares and then sell shares they dont own. At some point they need to buy the shares they borrowed which can push the price up. Shorts want the share price to go down so when they actually buy the shares its cheaper. The difference is their profit.

We have seen the price increase where shorts have closed which is normal

My view - The AWS deal will help smash the turn around plan. I work in IT in a fairly senior role, all i am hearing at the minute is Customers looking for "digital transformation" which pretty much translates to moving to cloud services. The next 5-10 years will be full of this type of work. MCR will benefit massively from this.

I read the article and sounds positive. Doubt much reaction for now until we see any results from this partnership.
