I checked news and X and nothing. No one is saying this so please share your sources.

Culpepper actually most them items you mentioned are not the most importanat in reality. Cash is the most important point. If the company makes positive cashflow and cash is growing then all is good. Revenue is a number in Excel, that just means you invoiced an amount that you may not even collect in full. Profit again, just numbers in Excel.

did you read the report? they said the concerns are on funding hav but if the deal is done then it shouldn't be an issue so really it was a pointless downgrade. i wouldn't worry. all rns so far show this is moving along. i have seen nothing to counter that bar some short sellers spouting **** here to cast doubt . they are no more informed amd just making up talk

Mapp....AIM is a Gamble, its why you should never go all in and manage the risk properly. I have 8 per cent of my portfolio in GGP only as i increased after the aquisition news. I have cash available but still think that's my maximum risk tolerance. For consistent returns it's best looking at ETF or Big Tech over AIM. I understand tech so for me I see that as something I see what's going on every day.

From what I recall it's the decommission wworks when it does finally close down which is the liability. But if there is more gold to be found, some fixes deployed and an extended life then that's not a worry for the next few years.

Where did Newmount say this was a liability? Is that FACT they said that or your assumption? I read it wasn't part of their plans only so you assumed its a liability? Why would they want shares in a Liability? Wouldnt that be stupid?

Do you trust any data provided by China? They have lied constantly on everything. GDP Growth / Debt / even the amount of Chinese people. Also if they do release a currency backed by gold - it will be used with Brics countries - so a bunch of poor countries been poor together.

Zimbabwe did this with a gold backed currency and less than two weeks ago they devalued the currency 40% already VS the Dollar

Well...my expectation is the short has contributed to the price decrease we have seen this week. Many times I see shorts, matching buys with sells through algos to force the price down.

Let's see how tomorrow goes. They are under the reporting level so it doesn't mean they closed it completely yet.

Its just a bunch of idiots, and no doubt they will get caught out. I seen this before with a different company, its going bust, sell your shares blah blah blah. I nearly did many times because of peoples comments on the LSE board as i was down 50%. I held on then 1 day the SP doubled in a day and i was back in profit and sold and went Greece 2 weeks later for a holiday. Patience is needed.

We get a positive RNS and they will crawl back into the pond they come from. Until then just keep adding shares D:)

I was in to Microfocus a few years ago, down 50% at one point and reading all the negative crap on the forum on LSE, many days i had my finger on the sell button which would have cost me a small fortune. I decided to leave it and one day the price more than doubled and i was back in profit. But i bet many people listen to the crap and its not fair or right to cost people money

Its not so true. Some equities have gone through the roof in that time so gold is not the only way to stay ahead of inflation. UK stocks are poor for years and it may continue if we keep losing listings. I dont expect the equity run to end, we are at the start of AI and thats nearly like discovering electricity.

I hope Reform win but think it will be labour and then the UK is screwed.

UK wages are terrible and have grown too slow for the last decade. For the salary i get in Poland i would need to be CEO in UK to get the same salary. In fact we started replacing Polish people with UK based people as for some roles cheaper. Something needs to change in our politics!

Inflation is good and bad at the same time. 2 / 3% is manageable for most people and in theory we earn more each year to offset it. But UK has been screwed for years with low salary growth and I cant see that changing soon which makes me very sad. Would love to come home!

Why is the value of the dollar higher now vs GBP the same year i was born in 1985?

in fact since 1992 its been increasing bar the drop during the 2008 crisis. Same comment against the EURO.

And inflation is down to just over 3%. I live in Poland and 3% is actually the central banks target here so i dont think USA running at 3% is so bad which means there isn't a currency crisis at this level.

Also consider debt compared to GDP - They forecast 28 trillion GDP this year VS nearly 42 trillion in 10 years time. That probably doesn't consider impact of AI on productivity and efficiency.

Overall i believe in GGP but just think some people are just waiting for doom that wont happen. One day USA adds some taxes that covers the deficit and all of a sudden its down. In fact many countries are in a much worse position than USA without any impact.
