There are many types of stakeholders in a company.....

Shareholders are one of these.

Seems to me that the only thing worth speculating about,now,is how much the successful bidder is paying.....

And more importantly what is the level of payment above which there could be a payment to shareholders...

Er, no Scuba.....a dividend isn't a payment just from profits.....

If a company had a pile of cash it could pay a dividend to shareholder's if the board wished...

So for example if EUA sold a subsidiary or two and had a lot of cash it could pay a divi to shareholders....

Many water companies borrow money to pay dividends......they do it because they can....they have almost guaranteed revenues (because no one's giving up water) ,so banks will happily lend to them...

I don't think that applies to EUA...

According to RIG group, they were not able to show proof of funds due to it being ramadan and therefore they have not progressed....
