Finally found the filter tab! Just green boxes now and no more crap. Just have to read those replying to "it". Would be nice to stop seeing such posts as well.
As for HVO - Great start to the year. Await the trading update with interest and hope there is some hint about the nominal dividend that is coming shareholders way.
How does one filter a member on LSE. Not so simple as with ADVFN it seems. Life is too short to read some of the rubbish posted by a certain individual here and I don't want to spend time in 2024 reading it.
As for HVO - Nice to see it is garnering a few recommmendations as we start the year. GLA.
Will hopefully be a much more positive one if the investments hold their recent rise till the release. There will also hopefully be a definite improvement in the monthly investment figure shown. So, perhaps the required catalyst to initiate a more significant move upwards in the share price. Soon find out!
Being listed on Aquis isn't helping KR1's case either. However, when it does move, up or down, it can really move!
Shame the spread is so large on this one! Too be expected with Aquis companies I suppose but certainly impacts liquidity one would think.
Have got to be news in the very near term surely? October was mentioned by ZPHR and we are nearing the end of the month by the end of the week. Friday is 20th October, so seven working days from then or eleven including today for the rest of the month.
"The recently acquired Slawson Exploration ("Slawson") operated wellbore interests (as announced on 21 December 2022) are fully drilled and completed. Production from these working interests is forecast to be online by October 2023 following completion of surface facilities on the well pad. The Company will provide an update in relation to FY 2023 production guidance when those wells are brought online."
However...... I note that in the last RNS the word "October" disappeared and was replaced with Q4 which means I might be a bit too optimistic, as usual!
"The wellbore interests operated by Slawson, acquired by Zephyr in the second half of 2022, are fully drilled and completed. Production from these working interests is forecast to be online in the fourth quarter of 2023 ("Q4 2023"), following completion of surface facilities on the well pad. These wellbore interests are estimated by management to contain 2P reserves, net to Zephyr, of 550,000 barrels of oil equivalent ("boe") and will provide a significant near-term production boost to the Company when they come online."
Hi Northern - ZPHR actually state "The Company expects to be able to provide a detailed update on both the pipeline status and progress on its Paradox Project as part of its interim financial report for the six months ended 30 June 2023 that will be published by 29 September 2023."
So, "BY" 29th September means the RNS could drop any day from tomorrow until Friday. I hope it is Monday or Wednesday. Two family related birthdays, and I hope the news is worth making the celebrations just that bit better! I hope the news is not on Friday, unless it is good/excellent/superb (latter please) of course!
"Based on the data obtained during both tests, the Cascadura-1ST1 reservoir appears to be unbounded within the area of investigation, confirming a larger pool than originally anticipated."
Trouble is, the market is having difficulty finding TXP's statements credible at present. What they have said in the past (Chinook and Royston) has turned out to be different in reality as time passed. This is now weighing on TXP. They have to prove what they say about Cas is 100% accurate and then things may change. Patience and crossed fingers are needed for the faithful it would seem.
Things certainly haven't gone to plan (the plan we know about anyway!) Srdoddy, so you have a point. I would hope that CH is an honest and upfront person though and the sort of deception you insinuate is not factual. Things obviously haven't gone to plan and with drilling for oil and/or gas you can't be sure of what lies ahead. I will give the ZPHR team until the end of the year and reassess what to do. In the meantime I am hoping that the next series of RNS's will be more positive and perhaps we will head back to 6p and with luck much higher than that! If there are a series of extremely positive RNS's then who knows, we could reach the 8p+ level. It is possible!
"If the news is good or promising it will also enliven the SP in a positive manner."
I am sure if there is any good news it will be shared pretty sharpish. So, based on the continued silence it would appear that there is no good news YET. Silence will continue until there is either good news, or they have to disappoint shareholders in some way. Let's all hope it is the former rather than the latter!
Good to see KR1 made more income (£520,003) in July than it did in June.

"..now would be a good time with all that cash, what better use .."
As long as the buy back is one the benefits shareholders and not the BOD! Dividends would be a good choice. Some instituitions/funds would be attracted by dividends.
The following text is taken from the link at the end, where the advantages may also be found:
Disadvantages of share buybacks
"The biggest disadvantage of a share buyback program is that the cash used by the company to buy back the shares has an opportunity cost. This is because excess cash could be used by the company for a variety of productive activities which may, in turn, result in an increase in profits of the company. This means that if the company is going for share buyback it is clearly overlooking all the other alternatives in which that cash can be used.
Another drawback of a share buyback is that sometimes it may be used to give a false signal about the company. The reason for this is to increase the price of shares so that they can sell them. Therefore, investors should be wary of those companies whose history is questionable. This is because when the news of a share buyback is announced, the price of the shares rises which can be misleading for innocent investors.
The final key disadvantage of the share buyback process is that many people view it as a sign that the company has no profitable opportunity in the current business and that is the reason why they are using their excess cash for a share buyback which in turn creates a negative perception about the company in the minds of long-term investors who are obviously looking for capital appreciation due to growth in the company."

"At the end of day all of this will history when the change comes but patience thin on ground."
You don't say. Today, could be the day! Come on TXP deliver the news please, so the conversation, hopefully, can be more positive on all the BB's. We really need a turn in all ways here as sentiment is towards the lower end and a "lift" is needed. Just hope the Rosyston results don't put a dampener on the Cas news!
Until some news comes our way. I believe that results are due mid July (18th?). Hope they are better at their job than updating their website! https://www.velocity-composites.com/investors/financial-calendar/
Hopefully the news, and potentially more contracts (?), will help push the share price up to new highs and sustain them.
To go until the end of the month. Will there be some strength as traders and investors buy in ahead of news, or will the news itself be the trigger? As a long term TXP bull I hope we will see strength and not be disappointed again, but rolling the die at TXP has often lost us money. This time? The die have to roll right sometimes!
Nice to see ii credit the dividend efficiently. Will not be re-investing it as not a huge amount & besides I am already well under water here. I also need some more regular dividend income so will look for somewhere else to park the funds for some "interest" while I wait.
Thanks for pointing out the Jefferies piece Jatw. It is on the HCM website as a link and perhaps this direct link will take you to a registration page for the event: https://wsw.com/webcast/jeff281/hcm/1681680
Great turnout! Reflective of the CURRENT interest in HCM it appears.
