How are you keeping my friend, downwards and upwards, lately it seems to be that way but as you rightly say, a mantra for a successful drill in Q3. Your spot on, hopefully as He1 will be later in the year.

dia, see where your coming ( no1 comes to mind) from, but if we hit that sweet spot called a discovery then talks like this will be a thing of the past.

At the mou we can only take a step by step approach and as a discovery company looking for that next step up.

Some investors, probably like you are weary of DM, personally I feel he is doing a decent job and this could be massive for all on board.

I guess the rig audit result on the rig is the one that we are all waiting to convince more investors like yourself that we are heading in the right direction. All will be revealed soon I'm sure.

Of course DM will keep us guessing, it's all part of the ride, when on a rollercoaster if you knew what was coming it wouldn't be so exciting.

Having said that, on the other side of the coin,he fully knows he wouldn't be in the driving seat if it wasn't from us loyal shareholders so the pressure is on to get it right this time.

I think you have just hit the nail on the head.

There is nervousness as we are all waiting for the same thing, that is the rig passing the audit, once this is complete the positivety will replace the nervousness and then we can all look forward to the drill.

I'm obviously no drill expert, I would imagine a new rig would cost in excess of £15m.

But as the world is going greener, there are O+G rigs becoming redundant world wide, there are 100s if not 1000s of rigs in yards (not Steptoes& Son though) rusting away that are no longer required. The owners of these rigs never planned for this and thought that they would never be in this position.

If/ when He1 get that discovery this could then be a golden opportunity to purchase a suitable rig at a substantially lower price than a new rig.

They changed the plan last year 1 drill instead of 3 drills for a very good reason.

The drill wasn't up to the task and wasnt cost effective carrying on and can only assume they knew that Tai holds the motherload that they are looking for, hence revisiting Tai this year for hopefully that discovery in 2022.
These things happen, things do not always go to plan as this was the case.
One thing I'm disappointed in and I'm sure DM is as well is when he said we should hear something by the Q1 regarding who, when and where , with hindsight he probably shouldn't have said that.

Looking at the rig situation, I feel there might even be a possibility, if the rig passes the tests in doing a deal and then lining themselves up to purchase the rig after a discovery hence going for this capable but cheaper rig option.
Who knows, just another idea.

I bet that with every day that goes by DM regrets saying those words , what when where by Q1. We are now coming to the end of Q2. He1 usually do what it says on the tin.
I still have confidence in getting the rig sorted in time for drilling Q3.

The company is a complete different company to last year but lets not forget the markets have now completely changed so it will be interesting to see how He1 navigates through this current climate, they have the experience on board I'm sure to do this.

I have a gut feeling news flow will start next week.

Hold tight, no one said this will be an easy ride, people are even more nervous now and rightly so, as there is probably a full recession around the corner.
But He1 are probably one of the better companies to have your money in at the moment and I'm sure the share holders will be rewarded soon with an announcement on the rig status.

As with all of us, most days lately the markets are not performing the way we like, some shares have been hammered over the last 6 months or so. Two of my favourite shares are now worth 75% less, lucky I sold those earlier.

Whilst all this turbulence has been ongoing, He1 have quietly ( some would argue to quitely ) got on with their work in the background.

Work that is yet to show in their share price, the share price has held up well considering the current market conditions.

We are, I'm sure not that far in announcing the good news with the rig, at this stage this will be the turning point in the fortunes of He1.

The next stage then is ....

Why did He1 give up and postpone further drilling after the drill failed in Phase 1, even though they were going to drill 3 holes. Quite simply to conserve the remaining capital they have left, knowing after that drill that Tai is the discovery site.
They knew then that the capital left after last years drilling would just cover phase 2 costs and more importantly get that all important discovery. Building at the same time the data and a more experienced board in readiness before the next fund raise which obviously will be less dilution for shareholders.

Exciting times ahead.

Was expecting a bit of a lull in the share price today after yesterday's rise but in the last 40mins or so there's been over 1m buys so you never know could end up blue.

These are just figures ,at the end of the day they are irrelevant wether its 20p, 36p 54p, £1 or £5 a share, it doesn't really matter at moment , currently the news flow is positive with lots of options, and at the end of the day when that drill hits the ground I'm sure it puts todays share price into perspective, and if there's a discovery in 2022 then I wouldn't like to second guess where the share price would be.

Thanks dia, keep up the good posts, but ramper or deramper, personally I dont care, hope I dont come across as one or the other, at the end of the day I fully believe in this company, and after over 30 years of dealing in shares all I can say is opportunities like this do not come along that often.

Helium one are a completely different company to last year.

Let's not forget that Liberum the brokers have issued a buy price of 19p target price and that's before any drilling news is announced due to the work that has already been done by Helium one.

2021 drilling campaign has derisked the proposition, identifying a working helium system and confirmed the presence of an effective geological seal.

At the AGM DM was asked by Ian Stalker" do you read any of the bulletin boards like ADVFN". (When he asked that, I found it strange but interesting).
DM replied something like, " all my time is spent on He1, I'll leave the bulletin boards up to the experts ".

Of course DM and IS read this bulletin board, but would not openly admit it to the likes of you and me.

Totally agree with your sentiments and I'm confident that He1 can deliver before Christmas.
You say that if DM could be setting himself up for a loss of investor confidence if a discovery is not brought to the market. Obviously it's the company that will loose investor confidence big time, so having said that I'm sure the board wouldn't allow him to say thinks if it wasn't true.

Let's now go and see if I dig that bunting out for the celebrations later.
