“your just another greedy conservative who believes in creating wealth for the miniority and giving just the crumbs to the rest of us ! thats why rich are richer and poor are poorer people like you don,t care about poor just your rich chums !”
Where on earth did you dream up this idea from? Still, it gave me a chuckle.
Hi Rebess
I don’t venture on here as often as I would like - such a busy boy!! But when I do, I want to see the views of people such as yourself, rather than wading through post after post of…. I am guilty of not voicing my views, partly through a lack of time and partly through wondering why anyone would want to listen. I do have a couple of friends/acquaintances who are on the periphery of the mining industry in Africa (although one has, sadly, just had some bad heath news) but I’m very wary of repeating the, admittedly only occasional, snippets that come my way.
I’m so into gold that many would consider me foolhardy - and they’re probably correct. Something like 70+% investments are in bullion and CEY - I’m quite happy to bide my time on this one. I think I’m fairly well read up on long-term prospects for gold - and the year on year suppression of its value. Will continually moaning about it help? No. Will blaming the US President help? No - especially as it has nothing to do with that post. The answer is to position yourself to be ready take advantage, watch and wait, watch and wait.
I’m quite excited by Trump and what he is doing. I accept it may all come tumbling down at some point in the future but, if I were an American, I think I would be supporting him, not because he’s to the Right but because he’s not a Democrat. The American left, well the Dems hierarchy, have so lost their way it may be generations until they return to power. Another reason to applaud what he has achieved and to follow him is that he is not a politician but a businessman. We could do with a few of those in positions of power in this country rather than career politicians with little charisma, care for the working class or thought for anyone other than themselves and their party.
Many like to oppose Trump because he’s rich, or because he’s not left or because he’s not Obama. Well, he’s already done far more for the working people of the US than many, many, Presidents before him. I challenge anyone to name ONE policy instigated by Obama that had a positive effect on the American economy.
In a most un-Presidential manner, Trump is actually carrying out those policies that he promised before his election. There’s new! Don’t direct your hate towards Trump because he won. Because he didn’t! He’s president because Clinton managed to conjure up a loss from a sure-thing position.

This is NOT what this once fantastic forum is supposed to be about.
I've put the left-wing, cut-n-paste, drivel monster back under a filter. Which means I have to, again, log in every time to enjoy this board.
Please PLEASE let's keep this board on topic, talking about matters particularly relevant to CEY and Gold. There's another whole Intarwebby out there more suited to drivel.
Good day.
with the BOD. OK, the figures given at Denver were a little naughty but I do think we have been spoiled in the past with so much positive news following positive news. The only real downer in the past has been with the court case shenanigans.
I've invested a little more and I'm scrabbling around to find some more funds go buy more at this price.
/how do you open the kiddies piggy banks?
Don't know what's up with some people. These are cheap as chips no matter what fears one holds for the short and medium term. Topped up again today. Taking more of the longer view these days compared to how I used to operate.
And bring on more Trumpage. No matter what you think of him, he was the best available at the time and will probably leave a very long lasting and positive legacy. He won because of the stupendous incompetence of the Democrat hierarchy. I feel for the Americans, the best leaders since WW2 have been Trump and a failed B-movie actor. Says it all, really. Trump to have a landslide victory in 2020 - because the Democrats aren't capable of sorting out their mess in such a short timeframe.
Isn't the AISC rise largely due to the lower ozs shipped? Once CEY get back to the more frequent airport runs as in the past then the AISC will naturally fall.
So why is everyone getting upset about the AISC, it's merely a function of less gold shipped. Or have I lost the plot again (blames the heat, you know..).
Another good post but please don't go anywhere. It is folk like you that make this a great forum, especially for the many people who, like me, are long term holders but rarely post.
I can't say I've seen a great deal of nasty or rude posts. Maybe it's because they pale into insignificance when compared to the thoughts I hear in my head concerning one particular poster, that I've so far refrained from having a proper go at. He's the only one whose never-ending drivel has forced me to use the block filter. I just have to remember to log in when coming here.
You're one of four or five who make it worthwhile visiting this forum. Thank you for your contributions and long may they continue.
I'm more concerned about the 30+% increase in ASIC without detailed explanation. But, nevertheless, this has to be a great opportunity to top up. Loaded up a little with more to come (probably) this afternoon. GLA
I've spent a few hours looking into and pondering Kinesis this weekend and was considering getting involved. Until you posted this, Tibbs. So thanks for that! How anyone can use the word ethical in conjunction with the Congo is beyond me. And any source that mentions the Congo as the single largest gold producer must be ignored. A few hours wasted, but not s I'd love for this forum to return to talking exclusively about CEY :(
really shouldn't be allowed to use a keyboard. Moaning about the introduction of energy standing charges - when UW always had them, then whinging about 60%+ increase in energy prices. Get real! My own energy costs will rise, on 8th Dec, by 3.5% so I'm happy with that.
