You did well to bank on UKOG imho.Agree re any ptential pullbacl/fall. If it shd retrace quickly for any reason and let's face it, most of the rise is currently built upon expectations and sentiment, then you can be left with trapped capital for weeks if not months...

AIm to get back in but wont chase it and happy with ££ banked so far having bought in dips of 2 weeks ago...Not succumbing to FOMO anymore. .....(said with gritted teeth!)....;)

Have a suspicion that sentiment will soon return to AST barring any bad news/black swan events. Retracement as expected has happened....

Rinse and repat once again.....but my caution re this share remain the same. Zero trust in company, management and promises.

That said, a trade is a trade is a trade....Bank and run every time....fast, lol!

A foreign language to me too still and has required a heck of a lot of hrs, effort and tears (the tears are from those 'attempting' to teach me due to the level of my thickness, heehee).

Struggling with fibs at the mo but in my defence only been 2-3 weeks and at least 'Im trying' though those trying to teach me might say 'Im very trying' lol!!

Glad you took it as intended. Too many stay in based on sentiment and ramping from the majority lead paper proifts to actual losses, never bank any gains and as you can see 'that part'r share' dropped ever since i msgd you and most have gone onto ramp A.N.Other.

Had a few that challenged me re that share once i sold out as it was only ever and will only ever be a trade, but look what's happened since. Hey presto, it's dropped. I daresay those same people sold out soonafter having disputed with me but never stated they did so.....;)

If you had seen, I posted my trades at the time here transparently and gave my reasons. Anyhow, glad you banked:)

Think you did the right thing re UKOG as it has just crossed the golden cross so may see a bit of a retrace though higher targets remain. Just depends on how big the/any retracement is. Ive banked also as gains/rises warranted bankbankbank ;)

Ok, at first glance from that chart, the sp is forming the base ie the rounded bottom - can you see it?? This is part of the cup so the sp shd in theory rise from here to form the RH side of the cup until it reaches the level at which it will form the handle where you will then see a retrace of the sp.

This will then be followed by a rise ie continuation of the upwards trend.

The curvier the base, the better. The deeper the handle is the deeper the retracement and too deep is not so good....fibs theory comes into play for retracements but that's getting a bit too heavy into TA!

Anyhow, my thoughts wld be that the sp shd rise as a next stage though time-wise cant say....it needs to start forming rhs of the cup though; too much lower and the C&H may not emerge.

A Cup & Handle is a continuation pattern. Overall my understanding is that is is a bullish pattern, asides from if sp is forming the handle obviously!

So it really depends upon where the share is currently on that pattern....will take a look at chart and give you my thoughts shortly but bear in mind Ive only been learning techs proerly past 2 weeks so beware , lol!!
