Threeputt, I really wldnt take to much notice of what any articleor historic data claims re. 'historically'...
Look at what happened last night. A few comments from Trump and pow, looks like the US indices are going to finish in the red today and just minutes before NQ was abt to break the 7800 barrier...another ATH!
*Everyon*e had been expecting SPX to break 2920 for 3 sessions ....they were proven wrong...
Trump in part'r has such power that one statement, one tweet and the markets can undo 1 weeks' worth of a trend in min/hrs...no historic data/trend for such short timescales shd be paid too much attention
Seasonally, May-Sept are always quieter but does not mean there arent trades to be had. And even if last day of August or Sept turns out to be a good day or a poor month respectively, it wont be because that's what has emerged historically but because of ongoing global events!
Ignore these articles/data. aimho.....;) GL:)
