A classic for that happening is MYSQ - rumours build over the w/e according to a 3 word newspaper article along lines of 'BlahTakeoverBlah', the share spikes on Monday, nothing happens by Tues ie no takeover blahblahblah and by wed it's tanked as it's dawned on most by then it's ben P&D'd again, hehe!

I was going to chart DERR for you Treacle but nothing happened on it this morn.....guess it's the normal weekend ramps for rmours base don little to nothing! GL:)

Indices have filled their respective gaps from overnight so fingers,toes, nose crossed they fall now :))

For sake of transparency, banked last week looking at techs ST coupled with Trade Wars dragging on and having conitnuing -ve effect on commods inc Copper.....

Continuing the rise from Friday....nice:)

PS There is obviously the infamous gap from this morning that it also has to now fill ie the *upper* gap;)

MP, I think it's completed a bullish bat. Initially I thought it was a gartley, not so...This is bullish so sp shd be upwards hereon bar minor dips/pullbacks obviously (if any at all following this morn's drop). obviously pls don't hold me to it!;)

Just made a neat profit thanks to that RNS alert....and the chart I was frantically trying to do this morn....

Have to agree with you watching the share movement closely. Following the initial drop down, they didnt drop it much further and spread held; demand was definitely there....managed to get in at 0.25...

Keep posting here re. it!....Only a trade for me admittedly; banked half and will watch what happens rest of the day....end up flat/blue??!...:)

Agree re China. What a plum he is, lol! Ive also been reading re. potential military build-up and I think this is going to start coming to the forefront on an increasing level within next 1-2 months....ties in with mid-term also...talk abt pending volatility!

So from 'China and US to have talks' to 'Increased tariffs' in the space of hours and all down to an apparent misunderstanding. Errr, yeah, right.........

Awaiting China to retaliate.

And then hey presto, sudden new talks will undoubtedly come out of somewhere, and back up the markets go when certain ppl have taken long positions having cashed in on their shorts. Ahem......

What a farce!;) But great for my shorts following Friday's news whereby drop continued overnight:)
