A friend who earned around 20K had a car on fire, but no savings or buffer, needed to buy a car to work while waiting over 6 months for his claim. He got a loan, then other cost hit, higher insurance etc, he took out another. Yes he’s struggling, but he’s paid the loan until reading he can claim. IMHO FCA are overly biased and allowing opportunity for almost everyone who had a top up, to claim difficulty in paying, I mean why would they need a top up if they had money. I hope for a more balanced approach as this moved to FOS, or JR. In the meantime AMGO will have to manage out of this or die. Is a big risk, but the upside is huge and there will always be people needing a loan.
