Value here will be in the nature of the type of aquistions and investments. If you follow Jim Mellon then you know how switched on he is. He has his finger on the pulse of the next big thing. Its not about revenue just yet. Look at companys with strong IP, market caps of multi millions. So right now seems like the best time to be in, at the begginging. The first few rns should prove interesting. Chances to get in on the ground floor involved with people like jim mellon dont come around that often imo

thought the price was artifical, so sold some of my holding. Any aquisition will require a fund raise, hence dilution

fair enough, but you sound articulate enough to put pen to paper, you may not get a reply but they might take somthing onboard. All companys have their shareprice drivers (other than results), in trafs case, planning permission for multiple plots carrys the greatest weight. But the "independant will of the enemy" can have adverse effects, planners, contractors, intrest rates etc non of which are in trafs control. Management have a succesfull track record, but they have to do better under fire. Well done on Taylor Wimpey, priced to go bust back then but recovered. PFD a few issues, but can see a bid there.

Breton59, Write to them, make a few suggestions. I think they have to expand to other areas, cut finance costs, and build more of what the market wants with a few luxury. prime plots. But overall builders are likely to prosper longterm. I might add a few later.

They would have made a significant profit had their contractor not gone bust. They are smaller scale build company, so were impacted by this event. Otherwise they have been highly succesfull, and have a full build programme ahead. Sp speaks for itself.

Riddler, the bad news was priced in from last year and early this due to delays and planning issues. They hit a bad patch of luck thats for sure, most of which was out of their control. As you know traf are historicly a very succesfull company,so they should bounce back strongly next few years.

I can see why you are miffed off mate, but comes a time when you have to look at things objectivly from THIS point forward. Whats past is past. I'm looking at the strength of the ecconomy, demand and relaxation of planning permissions. I really like the niche element, So with finances sorted and more developments ahead it should come good, very good if Staplehurst (could now go larger plot size) and other bigger plots get passed. Bretton, the contrctor going bust on oakhurst is the reason, an event out of their control. That would have led to delays and buyers canceling Not trafs fault entirly. Hopfully they have learned from that and will become stronger. As far as their niche is concerned, the new government rules on brown sites just made trafs life a whole lot easier. Good to know they are fully funded and can return to using conventional sources of lending.
