Thanks for your words. I bought some VGM last November. I've also got some AGLD, CRND, TPJ, HMB and GDP amongst other miners. Apart from MEC I'm mining heavy at the moment. I always take the longer term view when investing. I don't have the skills to daytrade. Too risky for me.
I bought into this share at 16p in December, 2008 after reading up on this company and fancied a 500 quid punt for the long term. I hope I'm not a mug in a couple of years time. Here's hoping.
on the back of Euro Nickel? ENK going well today with their news.
haha, we must of posted at the same time. I'm looking to top up.
has closed up to 22-23. What's your take on this moneyman?
Glad really. It has been dragging on a bit.
any bad news. Will keep searching. Maybe some profit taking. Down a lot on low volume selling. Should bounce back if there is no bad news. If I can't find anything siginificantly negative, I'll in here first thing in the morning UK time. Cash rich. Good cashflow. http://markets.ft.com/tearsheets/financialsSummary.asp?s=UGY%3ALSE
I've been reading up on this company for a while now and with all the potential this company has, it seems surprising the market cap is only just over 11m. I got in at 19.5p and will remain here! I'm looking long term with this one, just like RIFT and TMC.
I received my corporate action notice that states that Prostar has confirmed that iti s continuing to evaluate making an all cash offer for the issued share capital.
Has there been some news on the Dustbiglu project to warrant such a price increase or has it been ramped on no news?

Thanks for the info GedW. How do you see this playing out? I've been re-reading as much as possible about the company and Prostar. I would imagine a hostile bid, buy up shares, would force the issue certainly. I notice on this site two sells 2,525,000 recorded after hours. What is the significance?
Agreed. They seem to be arguing over a price. It's time to move things forward, and ultimately let the shareholders decide.
today. Over the last couple of weeks the buy volumes are much bigger than sells by the look of it. When could a deal be done?
12 - 12.25
Once I free up funds I may well top up too. It has surprised me that it has dropped so much on news which I thought was common knowledge amongst shareholders.
indeed.
but could there be a bidding war? Need to do some quick reading. I set up a limit to sell at 25p and it triggered. So in profit, so can't complain. Managed to buy back in at 28p. Hopefully get a few more pence.
Fly!!!!
in at about 14p first time, then averaged down to about 8.5p. Glad I did. This, RCG and SOLG are doing me proud these days. Having patience works. Sliced a bit off SOLG and topped up on RIFT. Not selling any TMC. Hopefully I'll just watch it rise over the long term. Here's hoping.
