Cheers Harry - been having some success with picking 6 horses (usually favourites or 2nd favourites) and doing a combo of doubles equals 30 bets so 30p e/w costs £9. Seems like you only need 3-4 to place/win to get your money back and done ok this week.. might consider it for your tips especially on Saturdays going forward instead of L15s.. gl

Also had a small bet on EMBLAZE only because it used to be the name of a listed company I had shares in (not sure if still listed or has a new name).. philipkeets, gutted that FRANCO'S SECRET faded on the line for 2nd place as I had 10/1 winner HIGHEST ORDER earlier in the evening and two places so would have been a decent L15 payout.. if there was the same winnings for second places I would be really rich! LOL looking forward to MEYAN tomorrow

Re Grand National - am I right that usually 50-60 horses are listed for the race at this date but only 35-40 will actuall run so maybe if we bet on any now there's a risk they will not make the race?
