I was just looking at the RAP investment from Whetstones point of view. Over �1 million has been raised in loan notes with Whetstone one of the partners (around 13p?).. the RAP share price is more than double their initial investment. Remember the RAP share price has already dropped a lot over the last few years... the accounts as you point out... have areas of concern. I guess the plan is to use the funds to turn the business around ... re the GNC tie up.. and to invest on the product line etc. I agree the investment is higher risk but the investment is not (yet) material and Whetstone can sell out at any time (it appears) if they so wish... so for the time being I think they made a decent investment - from their point of view.. I wouldn't suggest that every investment is into a company that is trying to turn itself around though..

Interesting that buys and sells volume is very similar... hard to believe there are even many willing to sell .. at this stage.. but at least there will be liquidity... now lets hold at and above 1p.. Will be good to get a RNS not just with the expected news .. but a revised NAV... remember the villas will not be sold immediately or even at expected price.. so the NAV will move around... also lets hope no more fund raising for a while..!!

You do realise Lefkosia is a SHAREHOLDER? A shareholder can ask questions!! A shareholder can say a share is a buy BUT be able and willing to point out any concerns!! However two points 1) it's not a good sign when any director sells their shares BUT it was to provide liquidity at the very early stage of Whetstone being on Britdaq.. if they continue to sell.. then maybe be a little more concerned and 2) I suggest charts and T-lines etc. are not very good with a match trading system ie. Britdaq. Traders can simply put on the platform a price they wish to buy and a price they wish to sell. So you could be cheeky and put in a 10p buy price or a 50p sell price.. now.. and sell if anyone bites... therefore it's hard to say why the share price went up to 35p .. just as it is hard to say why the share price has drop back to 20p... it's not up to the market makers.. or demand.. or even news... it's up to the prices on the matched trading system... hence moving out of Britdaq asap will be a big positive......

Quite surprised by the reaction today.. we knew the disposal was taking place - the confirmation of the expected conclusion causes the share price to re-rate lol... never will understand the markets... The cash balance is great.. the balance sheet is not great... however lets see the next results and hopefully a cleaner more transparent financial statements... will hold but tempted to sell if 3p is breached gla

Wrong! How many non holders are posting at the moment? 1-2 at most? How many are twisted? Explain the term... Posts disappear on here all the time - for the second time I will say this.. it just takes 5 (!!) posters to report a post for it to be removed.. holders and non holders posts have been removed on here... reporting posts is common here - at least I say when I report... STOP seeing things through a narrow view point.. nothing imho that is said on this thread will effect what happens with Whetstone and future deals .. can we just get back to healthy DEBATE? Spary1 - sorry re CLP but when NEW posters appear stating 10p plus targets without any substance - I will call them out because I don't want a spike - I want a re-rating that will last - these posters are day trading pump and dumpers.. don't you get it?

Two points - if I was not attacked .. I would not bite back.. ok? It is "normal" to reply to a poster - especially when it's a long winded multiple personal attack.. Second point .. how do you know I am not now a holder?? I have just been on CLP - I hold 100ks of shares there.. I just had a go at the ramping... you see - I will call out anyone anywhere who posts BS... (or do not back up their points) "trolls" serve a purpose you know...

Hope you are right - others know far more about CLP than myself... Personally I would expect continued gradual news flow and (hopefully) good news adding to the NAV - sorry, just a tad more cautious than others - but I would not be a shareholder here if I did not see the potential and happy to tuck away for several years .. if necessary...

No.. I already have enough shares here and will hold long term... I am just curious that when someone (usually new) provides a share price target - they hardly ever give a reason!! If it's due to charts, liquidity, breakout or expected news .. then fine.. however CLP goes up and down like a yo-yo... far too many short termers bank an quick 10% here.. so it needs to hold 1p .. first...

Why are you expecting 1.3p by Friday? Based on? Charts? Liquidity? News? Just sit back.. hold... have a target... and wait for news.. due on several fronts in the near term..

Final point - I said that once or twice I might have been encouraged to chase a spike .. because of ramping posters.. I DID NOT say I hate rampers... the truth is that I dislike posters who tell lies (!!) who tell OTT "facts" that can encourage a poster to buy .. or sell.. so get the picture? I HATE MOST TROLLS TOO. If posters kept to the facts - fine. Saying "50p tomorrow" etc.. or "this is going down" if baseless nonsense .. and we have seen too much of it here .. and elsewhere ... over the years .. from BOTH sides

BTW posting the same ramping RNS from Worthington multiple times .. if that is not ramping I don't know what is... however, I blame the company - not you - for this RNS. It was designed to increase shareholders expectations - ahead of actual events - seems to have worked with a few of you.. now they are nailed to this target ... no other company I can recall have ever put a target NAV within a RNS - it was daft - a mistake - something a Nomad would not allow - doesn't mean I "hate" the company - just that they could have handled a few things better.. a gradual .. slow .. successful acquisition trail .. over several years... is the norm.. not a multiple bagger over night sensation... be patience...

I like the way Whetstone managed to buy in at such a sharp discount.. yet you still must have a dig... My point is simple - no one should buy .. or sell.. JUST on the comments of a BB poster.. LSE discussion and elsewhere s/b just one part of any research into buying a share... ditto what's app groups etc. Don't be blinded into buying or selling because most will have an agenda.. to push a share higher or lower... Now at 0.34 Euros? Seems to be going up and down like a yo-yo BUT way higher than the original Whetstone buy in price/investment. Will be interesting to know if they see this as a short term investment or a 3-4 year hold. Agree they got a brilliant buy in price. (Lefkosia - acknowledge the accounts but the discount to current share price that Whetstone got in must discount a lot of the risk)

It's neither big news nor deserves the "ouch" reaction. It's around a mere 5% dilution (around 10 million more shares added to the 212 million shares in issue) and the discount not enough imho to cause a significant pull back. The share price will probably drop back ... by 3p or 4p to around 22-23p imo

As another LTH who has traded TLY for probably over five years (like Cashking) .. it is great to see some other well known posters here plus a very active thread... I am sure this is now bottoming out.. will add when possible gla

Have you not been reading this thread for the last 2-3 years? Some posters post A LOT of research on the other BB - however I have to be honest and point out that their "research" tends to be negative points.. Remember too that it is only 2 days ago we got the details of the first deal - so perhaps more research and opinion will be posted here over the next few days..

I guess you have to remember the connection to Worthington (after all, 95% of current shareholders also hold Worthington shares).. there's a lot of history there... most I am not that similar with (Rangers etc).. some hold very big historic grudges.. my advice? LET GO

Ok the company probably needed this investment .. but from Whetstones point of view.. a) this is an investment at a share discount to the Rapid share price.. and b) the investment is small enough to ensure that IF something goes wrong .. Whetstone will continue. I guess the key for Whetstone is to make 5-10-13 deals that are all a small percentage of the total NAV so IF any one investment doesn't work out .. fine .. that's why the sooner Whetstone gets a decent number of deals on its portfolio -the RISK will be sharply reduced gla

The share price has doubled from its low point.... there was a director purchase recently.. there has been a new tie up that appears to be in a high growth sector... sentiment is turning ... sometimes you have to get past a historic dislike of a company to realise there is a short term opportunity to be made here...
