Lets hope a RNS has been logged ... strange to see sudden buying without news (!) Any research note out or twitter comment? Not complaining...

Around 4 million shares sold and 10 million shares purchased so far to day (if LSE statistics are correct).. so the ONLY reason I can think of as to why we are not higher on this excellent news is ... liquidity! However if the buying continues.. the free float will drop.. and the re-rating may take off.. agree with others.. 1.5p plus now.. 2p plus on confirmation of receiving funds gla

Yep you are right - you can say what you like.. however, usually when a poster says "boom" .. it's because of NEWS via a RNS (like CLP today) or a sudden share price spike.. neither has happen this week with Whetstone.. so I guess this "boom" is sometime in the future? I see the potential here... but unlike most.. I am not looking though a tunnel vision ... a lot can happen here ... but so far the assets are not material compared to the market value.....

How can you know? Indeed it will be just as daft to say "bust"...! Unless you know more than anyone else - we will just have to wait and see. Most investment companies make steady gradual investments and see NAV growth over time. Why should Whetstone be any different? Indeed do we have a financial calendar? When will a trading update be issued? The first interim accounts? News on moving to another exchange. There are pluses and minuses with this share - like most shares.

Isn't the share price the same as Friday? Still good to see a gradual move upwards and not too much profit taking still - probably because a few of us still need to see 3-4-5p lol

Good to see some research on here.. only point I think you must also consider is FUNDING.. whether by share issues, debt or CLNs ... even after the leisure business disposal I am sure more funds may be needed .. even if not immediately.. however saying this - I wouldn't be holding if I did not see upside... just not sure any re-rating will happen overnight .. probably 1-2 years away but news flow might change this gl

Thanks but I actually was a big supporter/defender of PAA for many years even as the share price continued to fall but finally we had a spike and I made my money back.. also this thread was DEAD for many years - only 2-3 posts per month so I am delighted that it is now so active. I have not posted much here recently as I have reduced down and tucked away my residual holding although it might now be the time to add back. It's clear LIVE is being promoted now on twitter etc. and all the recent news can only help to generate extra exposure. I guess my point really was that - for me - the jury is still out about whether the CEO will turn this into a massive money making machine - simply because of the years of poor news. I am hopeful.. and the news flow is great gla

I presume you were not around when the company was known as PAA? Years of underperformance.. so I think we need a bit more time before calling this "a great share".. lets wait and see but as a LTH I am more positive than I have been for many years.. appears to be another RNS today too...

...perhaps a SHAREHOLDER would like to complain? Anyone? Lets be honest - there was no point in this RNS except to tell us a mere million extra shares have been issued to pay expenses etc. (like most small cap companies - if you invest in AIM every day 2-3 companies issue shares!).. I trust others also noted the positive .. options at 8p ...?

Well as a very long term holder (although traded MOS as well).. there is one very good reason why MOS fell so much.. several rather large share issues at various prices.. Share issues are fine -- but more shares in issue limits future upside. So to get back to the market value of 13p when you were last in probably will mean 4p now.. just remember this vital point. However I would not still be holding if I did not see upside here.. perhaps 3-4p or higher if material news hits the mat gl

Quite simple - you tend to notice who the short term or day traders are.. they appear on the shares rising 10% + . Nothing wrong about this except they never say when they sell out (Tops included). OK we like to know when you guys are buying . but play fair. tell us your exit price as well!!

Confirmation of return of cash balances.. (it always makes me laugh that some buy after the news - not before. We knew this cash will be returned so the sensible acquired shares over the last few weeks at a cheaper price :-) BTW not sure what the company will do with the cash - keep it in reserve, acquire an asset or a return to shareholders. There will be more news soon..

Well I really hope you get more than 4p in proceeds after dealing costs! :-) just joking.. patience may be rewarded here

Well seems like Mysq is reacting well to more equity via loan conversion so perhaps sentiment will rub off here? Really s/b 2p at least imho

..well remember 99% of posts do not have any effect on the share price.. it's dropping because there is profit taking and some cannot wait more than five minutes for the next news so they get bored and move on (usually without saying so).. see any retrace as another buying opportunity especially those with a longer term outlook gl

I only report on personal attacks or untruths - sometimes it's harder to lay off the report button - LSE admin have enough on their plates. Sadly some enjoy a falling share price - what matters to me is the RIGHT share price. We know this company makes a profit - we know what has happen in the USA - we know this company will benefit etc. The share price has re-rated - but what it the true value may take a while to be clear. I would suggest higher than 5p for sure gla

We all know news is due and it's good to see that each recent retrace has been at a higher level - see chart above. Hope none of the recent placing share parties will be selling at the moment - doesn't look like it. (o/t spary1 - your view on csfg would be welcomed - breakout imo)

I wonder if certain posters are shorting this? They seem to enjoy being right about a dropping share price. Others - like me are in for the long game.. of course have a stop loss or exit price ... but news is due.. and I am not selling (yet)

Not taking much volume to move the share price now.... obviously now finding a new level after months of flat lining... not going to make predictions but perhaps worth holding on for the time being or adding considering the building interest being shown...
