MF, I do mean to reject the 28p as I believe the long term value is significantly more - just covering myself in case it goes through.

Surely the optimum strategy for PIs is if no alternative bid comes through is to vote no and sell at the current price of 28.4

If the bid succeeds we have lost nothing, if the bid fails we can expect a retrace and then buy back in at a lower price.

After all these years I am just on par, ignoring the loss due to inflation.

My stance is that whilst I haven't sold any shares I am obviously like a lot here who are hoping for a better bid but will not try and vote down the current bid as whilst in the long term that will be best in the sort term it will probably result in a drop in the share price and a slow recovery.
