Ad4you well said. The money that the UK government is spending on this pandemic is, well to put it bluntly, mindblowing. There is no way on earth that they can give the majority of contracts to one company as it would smell of corruption. Especially when all the rules of tendering have been dropped due to this emergency. So don't get too upset every time another company is selected. It's not that Novacyt/Primerdesign have done anything wrong. I'm sure they have had a fair slice of the cake & if there are seconds to be had I think the appetite is very much there.
