‘Flying’ - a hint!

For me the relevant words are STRIPPED DOWN VARIANT ie one that EU countries wouldn’t accept and that it sits ALONGSIDE the other Covid diagnostics being developed.

Mologic is now in the process of refining a stripped-down variant (the strip of biotechnology at the heart of test) in order to produce this professional use RDT at high volume for a low cost, while retaining exceptional clinical performance to boost access to COVID-19 diagnostics. Next steps are to optimise the manufacturing process in preparation for CE marking and submission for WHO Emergency Use Listing.

This professional-use RDT sits alongside the other COVID-19 diagnostics Mologic has developed, including lab-based and at-home antibody tests, as well as lab-based, professional use and at-home antigen tests

Although they don’t mention ODX, the RNS ODX announced a week or so ago suggests they are jointly involved.
The arrangement with Mologic is separate from, and additional to, the announcement made by the Company on 9 April 2020 relating to the UK Rapid Test Consortium (RTC), which is to jointly develop and manufacture a Point-of-care COVID-19 lateral flow antibody test which could be used 'at-home' and which will be manufactured in Omega's Alva facility in Scotland. Mologic's COVID-19 ELISA diagnostic test is also an antibody test but will be used on patient samples sent by hospitals or GPs for laboratory testing. In the current environment there is demand for both at-home and laboratory-based tests.

How did we end down with those huge late reported buys at 8p - massive investments which seems to have been spoiled by our ‘great warrant holder’. I understand the need to raise money but this last one has crippled the SP

Agreed Denn. I think all news is well priced in and this share is unlikely to rise much more. The shares following in the wake yet to get the big price surge are AVCT and ODX

Just to add that Han**** mentioned Mologic today in The Briefing as an international contributor to the testing effort!

Totally agree. This is the warrant holder selling off what they have left and once done we will move up again. This is Going to get an exploration update in about 6 weeks that will cover the SW step-out and MRE before year end. I am totally confident that this can only go up and I have a very large holding to show my confidence

My money is on the likelihood that the RTC have already been told to start producing but to wait for official announcement next week. Lord Bethell would have known this and hence why he perhaps inadvertently tweeted

Call me a cynic, but perhaps Boris wants to keep this announcement for himself on a ‘look how I have got a grips with things straight after the baby and foregoing paternity leave to do so’ basis
