The key issue in the MHRA link is not the use of EtO but the time taken to de-gas and ensure only safe levels remain. Has been a big talking point in the USA also but there isn’t really an alternative to its use for many products

There are only a few methods of sterilisation of medical devices and they are
Ethylene Oxide (EtO)
Gamma radiation
Electron beam
X-ray (new tech and hardly used)
Steam (only really used for medical instruments)

EtO and Gamma are main two

Note that because he hasn’t sold any to raise cash, he now has a huge and immediate tax bill to pay on the gain. The fact that he has chosen not to sell some to fund the tax shows great positivity on further upside that he would otherwise lose on the shares he might have chosen to sell!

It is a totally different beast Hydro and can’t be directly compared BUT look how stable it is apart from that drop due to PFS. GGP is being pummelled for no apparent reason despite already doing box cut whilst SOLG remains stable. Bizarre situation and no apparent end to this

Do all applications go onto the Tanzanian website as Recommended before approval? Last week there was only one application showing but today there are loads, with some recommended. Can anyone explain this in relation to ours?

Hi Jsd and thanks. I have a large holding so hope you are right that decision on EIA is imminent, but we have had it in for a very long time. When I was involved in these things it wasn’t that difficult to correct issues that were highlighted as part of the visit, so I remain concerned that the Australian outfit leading this has not got a grip sufficiently

When we entered GDXJ the trade was done in one lump at 27p and were ripped off by the MMS. The last rebalance saw them using a third party to buy shares over the intervening week, so in my opinion the latter will be the case if they intend to up their holding.

The results are very good showing high grades and mineralisation still open at depth ie they still haven’t found the bottom of the gold deposit. However, you never know how price will react even if it should go up on these results

I bow to Paddy’s knowledge but these exploration reports have always been issued on a Wednesday night, so if it isn’t tonight it will be next Wednesday. My view is that it will be tonight
