Even though I'm not expecting much from CGNR in 2015 I'm a bit disappointed with the sp going down today. Three companies I'm in completely outbought against sells today and 2 of them dropped and one stayed level. One of the companies that dropped over 1% had buys of about 1.3 million shares against 29,000 sells. It also outbought yesterday. This Greece business seems to be weighing heavily on the markets.

Yeh, it's confusing enough. Davys say the same but they say it's because of the farmout and the fact that PTR owned different amounts during different months or half years or some such. LOL. With regard to the 1.2m management fee I think what happened there is that a separate company was set up for certain extraneous fees. PTR invoice this company with an amount for these 'fees' and OIL pays their half. I may very well be wrong because this 1.2m was just thrown into the equation but it seems that half of these fees are additional from OIL to the terms of the bailout. Regardless, I too would like an explanation.

Hoper, I'm not sure if they actually stated the Annual Reports would be out next week but they usually issue news around the end of June: 23/06/2010 - results of AGM. 28/06/2011 - results of AGM July 2012 - operations update, 19/09/2012 - results of AGM (crazy year) 28/06/2013 - Final results 30/06/2014 - Annual Report. Given that they only issued an RNS in late May, and they are very busy right now, results/annual reports RNS might be merged with drilling update RNS (if they're allowed do that).

What'll happen is that the worst bod in the history of stock markets will offer a hint of positive possibility, numerous idiots will waste more of their money and then the company will fold. Either that or the company will fold before further mindnumbingly obvious thievery. Hope this helps.

After Oil India's very positive 20,000 bopd in 2020 expectation for Licence 61 alone, things are looking very good for PTR at the moment. There seems to be the usual background trading going on which someone ADVFNIIs calls share swapping between IIs. Can't argue with that as it happens a lot with PTR. who knows whose coming in/going out? As usual when these swaps happen the sp has not dropped at all. 4,000,000 million shares traded and no drop or rise in the sp. LOL. Obviously, only a complete moron would make a definitive statement on whether such trades are buys or sells. I don't know for sure what's happening.

More large trades going through yesterday and today. I wonder what's going on in the background. Interesting to note also that Oil India stated in their Annual Report on 31/05/2015 that Licence 61 is expected to be producing 20,000 by the end of 2020. We'll see.

Sercher70, from day one (back in 2013) I've been hoping for (and predicting) relevant developments here in 2016/7. I also predicted useful news in Q4 2015. I'm going to stick with that attitude.

Hi Dubh. I expect an RNS tomorrow (definitely before the weekend) although I think it will continue with the previous almost understated positivity of 2015's other RNSs. I like the way things are going at the moment. If the price of oil continues (overall) to rise and if the Russia/Ukraine crisis diminishes as the reports suggest, it should be a very good year for Petroneft. Then again who expected the price of oil to plummet and who thought Russia would invade the Crimea. It seems all investments are just gambles! Here's to a decent RNS🍺

Have it on good authority that it is almost certain there will be an RNS next week. It will contain no bad news and may be just a moderately positive update. At the time of writing I see PTR has gone up 0.57% for absolutely no explicable reason! No trades since the only today earlier this morning.

Lol. Sometimes I think there's about a hundred of us amidst the big boys. I think we shouldn't forget the decency of the last two updates. I'd like to think Ptr will carry on with the 'good' news since 2015 started. I have to say though that even if the next RNS is shyte I'll be staying in until the end of 2016 at least. It's always a surprising company - let's hope the next few months surprise us positively overall.

Hi Granto. I normally do but in this case the sp jump is very big on a tiny trade - it seems deliberate. Also, I see over on ADVFN that one of the lads who bought this morning cannot see his buy although it is on ISDX. It just seems like something is going on in the background. Those two 250,000 sells (I presume) yesterday should have resulted in an sp drop of some description but nothing happened. Weird share this - always has been!!

I know there's not much point in comparing the LSE with the ISEQ as they usually balance out by the end of a day or week. Nevertheless, the ISEQ has just jumped over 16% up on a tiny trade. Yesterday PTR went down to 0.57% on the LSE on the back of no trades. It then dropped to 1.14% down - again on the back of zero trades. Trades which were most likely sells appeared well after the sp dropped. This morning PTR went up 0.57 on the back of no trades. A couple of small buys have come in since then. As usual I cannot follow the logic of PTR's sp but one cannot help think there is something going on in the background. Whether that something is good or bad may be disclosed when after hours trades (if any) are revealed.

Kinda curious myself. What fireworks?
