Final results due 3rd April but interim ones due before then I think. They will tell us which direction we are moving in.

My first time on this board. I am having feelings of deja vu as I was in Flybe and held out for better offers etc with everyone saying it was worth 20p a share. In the end Virgin got it for 1p a share and I and many others took a big bath. This has the same feel so I think I will either sell or hedge and sell half. Well underwater here with an average of 18p but don't want to be caught again.

Yes indeed but outdated as it has since paid the tax in full (circa £45m) to stop the interest racking up.
The interesting bit in that regard is

I agree. It has transitioned from research to manufacturing with the consequent increase in overheads so it needs the revenue to sustain that shift. We haven't seen it yet but hopefully in 2020 and we can be rid of these ridiculous swings in the sp that continue to plague us. 16 years for me now so a couple more makes no difference though I am not getting any younger!

Both it and this seem well below where you feel they should be.

Market clearly unimpressed with the appointment.
We will have to wait and see. I am still way underwater on this one so holding and hoping

Virtually no volume yet we are down nearly 5%.
This is what puts investors off this share - volatility like a penny share from nothing.
I continue to hold and hope but it does test your patience as we wait for any information

Cleaning the stables which is appropriate for Augean!
Presumably the interest being paid to the bank is less than that to HMRC or the difference so small as to have little net effect.
Where did you pick up the 60% probability as that seems less than the bullish previous announcements?

Your reading of events is persuasive and perhaps I am jaded by seeing too much happen in sp manipulation on other shares especially on AIM. A favourable result with HMRC would prove interesting and there is still a chance as the company is certainly fighting it.

Presumably there will be a RNS to that effect if it has happened. I will try the LSE site and see if there is anything posted there as we could be in these doldrums for a while if so

When is that decision taken as with this drop we must be perilously close to going out?

If you were a cynic you could now see the reason for the rise after the LTIP RNS.Wonder if they will have to give it back if the sp now falls?

I am assuming this is just profit taking after the considerable rise as I can't see any other justification - just as I couldn't see an immediate reason for the rise.

Colt, many thanks. I was assuming interest in Augean as a takeover target was perhaps driving this but your analysis is a fascinating one. The HMRC prospective tax penalty must be, as you say, built in to some extent as it hardly a secret. Imagine the sp if Augean wins that. Hold for me at the moment I think based on all the above - my decision.

This is really going somewhere now. Something must be in the offing but I can't see anything anywhere.
