I am not a financial adviser and have no financial qualifications so please DYOR but I am told that losses can be rolled forward indefinitely. My accountant updates the amount when he does my personal tax return every year.

I looked at them a while back before they rose astronomically and put the money into SAR instead.

Just sold my trading pot. I have been badly caught out by waiting too long so that has overwhelmed FOMO this time.
Watch it soar now but I still have my core holding. Will buy back on any significant dip.

I am with Seaking's earlier plan in that I now have a trading pot which I will sell but hang on to the core. If the AZ news is good then perhaps the days of large swings will be over and there won't be much of a dip to get back in with.
Here's hoping anyway.
Just hope it's not another Fres where I missed the top and it fell from £13.60 to 10.70 in a matter of hours.

I was about to sell 2 days ago but Halifax was down so couldn't. Helluva drop since then. Holding though as unless there is something fundamentally gone astray with their Mexico mines this should bounce back eventually

My guess is that until the AZ vaccine is given the green light this will not move much more as if negative then OXB won't be producing anything and if positive then it will be all guns blazing to continue the silly western analogy that our Prime Minister used and then it will all depend on the deal as to how much profit it makes on each batch though the income figure should be severely boosted

Would be nice but we cant break out of this range at the moment and reports that the Oxford vaccine will not be ready before Christmas (did anyone really think it would be with all the safety checks etc?) probably aren't helping.
LTH of 17 years as always thought/hoped it would be successful. Started to trade it as well but need bigger swings than of late for that.

Leak of bad news?

Doesn't look like it from where I am sitting.
A delay to at least the end of next year is not good news no matter how you wrap it plus, if I read it right (and there is scant detail) the problem is with third parties which is even more difficult to put right.

Caught up in the general massacre today plus COVID and the effect on the London housing market where they are mainly situated I guess.
Am I the only one that would prefer a dividend to share buy back?

I missed NCYT but won't touch it now as I think I have missed the rise and it may drift back. IMHOO.
No harm in mentioning other shares as long as it isn't blatant ramping or deramping. I find it interesting what others have invested in and have to admit that without seeing GGP on another bb I wouldn't have noticed them and invested in them with a subsequent 11 bagger.

Holding. It got to 814 but I thought it might rise further.
Still have my core which, like everybody else, I should have sold when it reached £10 but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Not got anything in tech but have a few junior explorers inc GGP.
Treading water everywhere at the moment and have missed 3 spikes by being too greedy. Got wiped out by Flybe and SXX and ROK some years ago.

I bought at 776 following your idea of trading this but didn't expect to see it back here again.
I guess until we get more news on the vaccine this will drift. As far as I can see the trials are still stalled in the US so that doesn't help.
I am in a couple of other biotechs and they are stalled as well so a lull in that particular sector - or at least in the ones I have.

I bought these in Jan 2018 and haven't really looked at them since.
Marginally in profit again and hope this is the start of something so I can take them out of the bottom drawer.
Admittedly I have only done a quick scan but I can see nothing obvious to produce this rise. Anyone else any clearer?
