Me too. I just can't work out from the information it provides where this is going. I have not had a reply - even an acknowledgement - to my query on vaccine costs; not that I was really expecting one . I am weighing up whether if it falls into the 10s I will buy again. I have suffered from being too loyal to companies in the past; mostly because in truth they don't give a damn about pis but now it is almost 20 years since I first bought OXB so there is a lingering romance

In the past with other companies if it is oversubscribed everyone gets a percentage of what they asked for dependent on the amount of over subscription i.e if 1000 shares were on offer and 10 people bid for 100 they would get them all but if 11 did then each would get 91 roughly.

This share is volatile and AZ is taking a lot of criticism over the vaccine.
I asked OXB for some financials on the vaccine but as I suspected even had an acknowledgement let alone an answer.

If we get another spike might sell the lot. Getting fed up.

Have an average of 16p so a long way to go for me yet.
Frankly I just want out when I can. Been too long. I know - patience

Last year there was a dividend in August but it was only 1.7p so who knows

Immediately after I sold it went up 14p. Nice to know I haven't lost my touch. Still kept just over half my original holding but am now on a free ride.

I was just offered 1042 so might wait to see if there is a better reaction but clearly the market is not overwhelmed by these results. I will sell enough to have a free ride I think.

I have emailed IR with my questions so will see if I get a response. Some companies respond to small investors and some don't and I have no idea which category OXB is in.
Still cant get my head around it though if what I think below is right then vaccine production was running at a loss. Of course the capital expenditure element will drop out in future years and ongoing expenses shouldn't be as much as £35m - if they get that payment - but it it is all somewhat opaque.
Market sort of likes it - a bit.

ps what are you going to do with your shareholding now you have seen the figures and the market reaction?

I'm still ploughing my way through them trying to get to the financial bottom of the AZ vaccine deal.
Income so far is £15m. Lab builds were accelerated and some equipment provifded for free which OXB hopes to buy for £3.8m.
I am guessing that most, if not all of the capital expenditure of £13.4m was for AZ so how much of the operating expenses of £51.7m was down to AZ - the increase of £10m?
They state a likely income of £35m in 2021 but there will be ongoing operating expenses so without a deep dive I cannot see the overall financial impact of the AZ vaccine which then makes it difficult accurately to compare the other operations with previous years.
I may ask the company direct if it will pull out those figures.
Can anyone else enlighten me?

My scenario almost exactly except they aren't in my ISA. I was thinking of bed & isa but decided against it. Did with Eurasia and Mkango but not OXB. Like you I think it could be time to take the money and run. Will be looking for a rns at 0700 but have no real idea of what it might say as we are completely blindsided on the financials up until now. Fingers crossed

It's not as good as it looks as there has been a 50:1 consolidation in the meantime.
I missed EU early but have an average of 22.5.
Got in GGP early though it has stagnated for the last 6 months

it is going to be hard for them to do a financial update without mentioning money but I expect they will try!

You might well be right and I certainly hope you are. I have been in this for a while starting at just below 2p but have topped up at 24,22,20 and was not expecting yet further falls. I am of course hanging in there but it is a bit disturbing all the same just casually floating down a few more points all the time.

I am in the same mood as you but this is too low to sell.
Dunnri: the BBC reality check today says the vaccine is made in Oxford and and Keele but the Wrexham plant puts it into vials and packages it for distribution.

Have you actually sold or just intending to?
If/when it goes back over 10, if we are still in this FY I think I will severely topslice to take advantage of the CGT allowance as I have sold very little this year; even though I said I would hold until the financial results. This is so frustrating and never a word from the company.
