Hope you are well. We have avoided the dreaded plague so far but I guess it is only a matter of time as you cant stay locked away forever.
I ma perplexed about this very large drop from a few months ago as on the face of it nothing has changed. AZ is now confirmed as being effective in a third dose should be positive news.
Will probably hit the buy button sometime this week so be prepared for a large drop after that!

In theory yes but if you look at OXB which had 1:50 consolidation not only have the wild swings in sp continued (down 30% in a short period after a big rise) but the spread hasn't narrowed that much either so hard to say one way or the other

Halifax told me wb 20th Dec but couldn't say what percentage

I guess this doesn't help. All smoke and mirrors but I guess they mean £5m.

I had AZ for the first two and Pfizer for the booster and felt ill for nearly a week - no energy, achy and my arm felt as if it had been hit by a hammer. OK now but it - like this drop - wasn't nice..
Am going to do a bit more research about the AZ vaccine and Omicron before buying back in as we could be in falling knive territory here.

Morningstar says the Finals are in April and OXB is notorious for not releasing any information in between so I guess we wait until then.
In a guess towards the vaccine conundrum could the drop be because we haven't said that it is effective against the new strain whereas Pfizer are bellowing it from the rooftops.

I didn't think we would see this level again so am considering buying back the last lot I sold around here as the risks seem to me to be a lot less than when I did. When are the interims due?

Same here and it hit me like a thwack from a 2x4 over my head.

£5 ps makes us a £20bn company. The same size as Newcrest is now.
In what timeframe is that realistic?

Haven't looked in here for a while but as Shatter says this is still a very volatile share for seemingly no readily apparent reason. None of my biotechs doing well though. Sar down from over 9 to about 4 even after some HNWI bought in at 8.24. Bet he/she is happy right now!

Couldn't be bothered with the PB shenanigans so got in this morning at 14.60 through Halifax, my normal broker.
Have been averaging up for a while first topping up at 24, then 22, then 20 etc as originally at 1.9 but didn't think we would get this low.
GLALTH but this might be financial genius but it leaves a bitter taste and I will be top slicing if I get the chance from now on

Something is afoot by the look of it.
Been here a while since Dec 2017, topping up as it rose.
Hopefully not too much longer before the FDA announces its decision.
Where we will go if it is positive is anyone's guess but we can be sure of where if it is negative.
Exciting times as also awaiting announcements on a number of others including VAL and SAR

First post here but have been in Val since 2017. Invested again in 2018 and then suffered the 1:125 consolidation. Bought again at 18 and 22p and now with an average of 41p am in the blue. Long may it last but we have been here and fallen back down before. Might top slice out of caution.

Good for traders if they can time it correctly and can afford £1550 a share!
I wouldn't now. Still have SAR and Angle waiting news and still in VAL though I am much less hopeful of them.
Not been a good week overall but hey ho.
