I'm also in Scancell, N4Pharma, VAL and Angle. About even on Scancell; way under water on the next 2 and reasonably up on Angle though that is way off its high of 138 as well.
BJ is doing it for political reasons not scientific ones so who knows what the outcome might be but I would have thought that vaccines would be needed for years to come - like flu - so am still puzzled by the fall here.

As the war against Covid has been won according to our PM I have noticed covid related stocks (or ones thought to be covid dependent like Scancell for instance 22 - 14 ) taking a dive so wonder if OXB could be caught up in that though AZ has just announced record profits and an increased dividend and OXB produces for them. SAr has fallen from over 9 to just over 3 and there are plenty more like that. Unfortunately I am heavy in phrma/bio and also mining which has also dropped dramatically - or at least mine have - GGP 38 - 13; Alba 0.4 -0.2 etc etc.

Indeed they are and yes it is. I first bought in 2004 and are up on trades over the years but more or less even now after stupidly buying another (for me) large trenche at £9.80

The Board never comments on anything. It has always been very poor at communicating with pis. There has been no real explanation as to why the CEO left at this time for example.

I am undecided which way to vote but consolidation does not always mean less fluctuation. I was in (and still am unfortunately) OXB when it did a similar 1:50 and the share price has bounced from £5 to nearly £16 and now back to £8 again with another placing just happening. Every company is different I know but OXB stated reason for consolidation was "less volatility" and it just hasn't happened.

Hindsight is wonderful. Selling at £15 would have been great but I almost always hang on too long and I am still kicking myself for believing the bottom was in the high 9s. Am going though a similar experience with SAR - down 60% from its high (didn't sell) and now looking for a 1:50 consolidation (sounds familiar?) as that will enable other institutional investors to participate. Down 10% today on the news and most LTH don't like the idea but I guess they have the votes in the bag as otherwise they wouldn't have floated it.
One day I will learn. Still have too much invested in OXB but am not selling at this price.

This isn't even the right price. It is at 809 - just below the placing price. Not a good sign.

Better than it was. Another £1 and I will be even on my last purchase. It is really hard to see what that RNS means going forward. I will try to do some calculations on cash in hand and monthly burn but the figures are quite opaque so I am not hopeful.

I dread saying it but it seems as if this is the bottom, especially if the placing was at this price, but unless there is something in the pipeline we don't know about it is hard to see what will take this back to previous heights. Has OXB overextended itself in the eyes of the market? Why did the CEO choose now to leave? What is the financial impact of the vaccine going forward?
Questions, questions, though I am jaundiced by being nearly 20% down on a purchase within 10 days!

Yes and if I hadn't bought last week I probably would be now and wait hopefully for the bounce.
We are completely in the dark - as usual.

You have asked the question I was going to.
There are no details that I can see about the price or the terms e.g. 1 for every 3 held .
Also (and I realise this is only a personal preference) I don't like Primary Bid. Why couldn't it have been a simple rights issue for existing pis? This overcomplicates the whole thing but until we get a price and terms I have no idea what it means. Clearly the market doesn't like it as down we go.
I am beginning to think that OXB doesn't want us pis although we were the ones that funded it and kept it going in the early days. IIs now the route for them imho so I will be looking to exit (despite having bought last week before the latest fall) as soon as I can. Disillusioned I am afraid

Hopefully this is the bottom. You did well to get out at £10. I shouldn't have bought but hey ho.
The problem is I can't see what will drive a significant recovery - but as I couldn't see what drove this very significant fall - I am not surprised. However it seems no one else can either on this board and the BOD aren't going to help that's for sure. One of my other large ones (Fres) has just crashed as well and with GGP down from 38 to about 13 my retirement is not looking as comfortable as it once was.

Well done. I got my timing completely wrong here but I just couldn't see any justification for a further fall. Shows what I know. We are heading back to pre consolidation worth which is extraordinary given the change in circumstances.
Have to hang in there now which is the same for many of my other shares. Lets hope Russia doesn't invade Ukraine over the weekend or it will be decimation on Monday

I have searched where I can and can find nothing that explains a drop from nearly £1700 to this (45% roughly and obviously OXB wont say anything as it never does but surely even those in charge must be a bit worried about this fairly spectacular fall.

Spoke to soon. Eldest just gone down with it. I am testing negative but not feeling on top form.
I am the opposite of you in that I have hit the buy button for about £1 ps less than I sold so banked a nice profit both in real terms from the first buy to the difference in the cost of the same number of shares.
Which way will it go and what will cause it to break either way now it seems at what should be a "stable" amount?
