Hello BB. I hold 500k shares so am probably in your target audience. You pose an interesting, and I think, perfectly valid question (especially when there's bu**er all else to talk about) and one which I regularly ask myself. At the moment I still see a positive outcome but if this were to drag on till the end of the year with no apparent progress then I might well come to the conclusion that LC is being strung along indefinitely and reluctantly come to the conclusion that the money is better used elsewhere. That won't be LC's fault, and it won't be my fault for investing in the wrong share. The project is a good one, worth investing in, but Is Tan. a place worth investing in? I don't know at the moment. Sometimes **** happens and you have to walk away, and not look back. I'm content to ride this out a bit longer at my present level. I sold 200k a little while back and could have bought back in at a lower price recently, but chose not to, so I'm neither a buyer or a seller at the moment. I hope this comes good for those that hold mega amounts and if it does I'll be happy to take what profits I can. I doubt I'm the only one thinking along these lines

Tick as appropriate:- 1. MOD/MTR are extremely lucky with choosing where to drill. 2. MOD/MTR know exactly where to drill 3 It doesn't matter where they drill-there's copper to be found in our 11,000 sq km of Botswana. I fancy 2, but that doesn't mean 1 and 3 aren't also correct

As long as both BoDs are, and remain, alive to the issue and united in their thinking/efforts to thwart such an attempt, that is about all we can ask for, I think.

Not much I/we can do about it anyway so no point in fretting too much. Hopefully good news comes in fast enough to protect us.

I don't know much about such things but a less than full value TO certainly worries me all the time we languish at around this SP. Any TO offer would see a rise in the SP but whether it would reflect full value is another matter entirely. We (I mean small time PI's like most of us are I would think) would have to rely on the BoD and major holders to fight off any unwelcome bid, but there will always be some investors who will take a quick profit, so the risk is definitely there I would think. Let's hope we get some early good assays under our belt which sees the SP rise anyway. I'll bow to your superior knowledge and experience Bonker (I was typing the above when your reply came up) but until we get a good rise I'll continue to be concerned, having held shares before where events and people conspired to pull the rug from under PI's feet.

Hello Bonker. Are you in here as well or just observing? I bought another 100k this morning but still have only quite a small number. Not much activity on this Board, is there-can you gee it up a bit?

Re the remuneration report, as far as I can work out, all that's been thrown out is the grant of performance rights to Ms Barnes. The report in the Annual Report seems to say existing performance shares have had shareholder approval already unless they were previously approved in principle only and the actual figures need approving/ratifying. The figures to me look a bit unambitious but I don't know much about the subject, never having been in a position to be on the receiving end.

Everywhere/everybody is very quiet. Is the consolidation the prelude to the main event or have MOD just decided its something that needed doing and now is as good a time as any to get it out of the way?

Back up again today, 6% down, then 6% up on hardly any trades, what's all that about?

Just tried a dummy sale on HL and was offered 2.52. Tried a dummy purchase-only 50,000 as limited cash in account, and couldn't deal.
