The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi HH 11:31,
just spoken to ii (Interactive Investor) where I have mine. They do not have the SRN/HIN numbers & because 88e are Australian they don't send out alerts for AGM voting, Seems strange because they do send out alerts for Rights Issues etc.
You can give them (ii) in my case, your voting decisions on those 6 resolutions & they will send them through.
As you say, this seems strange & rather bizarre at this time.
Is it best to Not Vote (Abstain) or Vote In Favour of the 6 Resolutions?
mystified

If anyone knows, Brom will know.
Please Sir,
Where does one obtain their Shareholder Reference Number (SRN) or Holder Identification Number (HIN) ?
Not on any of my contract notes. Can you assist on this please?

Louis10 10:52. The piece below extracted from OJ's blog
Next door neighbour Pantheon Resources (PANR) also issued an update, commenting on 88E’s announcement. As it points out these large resources are in tight oil-bearing formations (which are eschewed by the experienced oil companies). Always remember, these are penny stock plays, not investments.
"which are eschewed by " Some common synonyms of eschew are: avoid, elude, escape, evade, and shun. While all these words mean "to get away or keep away from.
Fingers crossed for a POSITIVE Outcome at Flow Test.

Hi Rabito79 Wed 21:18
That NextInvestors "are paid to promote 88e & always derisk ahead of drills and load up in the lows it’s their stated strategy (pump and dump)" is not strictly true. They have a strategy of derisking as soon as they can & then free-carry. Their strategy is long term, like many of us here @ 88e. LoL.
They are shareholders in all other Stocks that they promote.
I stated yesterday that they hold >10m 88e shares, but that number is 2.5 times less than their current holding, as you can see below. My mistake.
88E delivers 450 feet (~137m) of net pay - now we wait for the flow test…
Disclosure: S3 Consortium Pty Ltd (the Company) and Associated Entities own 24,387,632 88E shares at the time of publishing this article. The Company has been engaged by 88E to share our commentary on the progress of our Investment in 88E over time.
As far as I am aware they only trade & offer commentary on ASX stocks.
Good Luck to Us All, roll on Christmas

Hi cbaron 16:05,
they (NextInvestors) are indeed shareholders & I believe they have in excess of 10m shares wrapped up in 88e & about to increase that again after the positive RNS. They are long term holders & are involved with a wide variety of stocks on the ASX. They generally look at 3 - 5 year cycles & have had a few decent results over the past couple of years, in Oz & Europe. Their "Big Bet", is that now, following the positive RNS, that the upcoming Flow Test delivers a flow of oil at commercial rates. Still a measured risk ahead, not plain sailing.
All of their portfolio is available online for free. Interesting reading.
Good Luck to All who stick it out until Flow Test

Hey WAa, 15:54, there have been times in the past, that I thought you were a bit OTT mate, but your summing up today, although brutal, makes good sense to me now.
Hickory # 1 has been considerably de-risked with data & results from Pantheon, Ice Wine # 1 & #2 & a pretty decent set of 3D seismic.
Hickory is 4 km from Icewine, (which was drilled from a gravel pad). We share a year-round site, so why would we setup from an Ice Pad for Hickory, assuming beforehand, that flow-testing was going to follow the anticipated good results up to 12 months later.
You were right to suggest that they are milking it.
Why would they want their shareholders to suffer even more dilution plus, having to wait all of that time to get a flow test result?
The only positive, one would get out of this, is to keep buying at low SP to keep averaging down, in the hope that you can get out with your pants up.
Really miffed this time round.

Hi rfarfa, following up from my Sat 19:07 post; slide 1 on page 2 / 5 on the link below indicates that Hickory 1 is only 4km away from Icewine # 1
https://clients3.weblink.com.au/pdf/88E/02563802.pdf
If, If, If, we get positive results tonight, no reason I'm thinking , for not using the gravel pad, (all year round access), at Icewine #1.
Perhaps getting ahead of myself here, but a distinct possibility for flow test this year.
Trying not to get toooooooooo xcited.

Hi Louis10 Sun 10:58, final section of OJ's blog;
Regarding the share price, the control group played the drill differently this time on the financial and promotional side, announcing a spud date prior to actual funding, letting the less informed buy thinking the drill was financed and the share price would run up from that point, apparently selling into that buying and covering on the placing which was only announced shortly before the spud date, keeping the market profit previously granted to investors. The initial lack of drill finance, then the limited time for the placing stock to churn was warned about weekly in the private blog.
The rest of the article was cut & pasted from the latest RNS, but this final piece; I can't understand what point he is making.
Is it positive or negative?
Any responses kindly received.

Hi rfarfa Fri 11:02
Looking at the scale bar on the Project Phoenix grid map, seen here,
https://88energy.com/project-phoenix/
Hickory appears to be ~7.5 km (~4.7 miles, North of Icewine #1 & 2.
We were in at Icewine #1 October to December 2015 on a gravel pad
Just cannot see us waiting another 12 months before we flow test.
Just my thoughts .
Happy Easter & Good Luck for Tuesday morning, everyone holding 88e.

Hi Brom,
thinking outside the box......what if ........We used Icewine #1 with its gravel pad, re-entered & then did a 90 deg turn & went horizontal into SMD, the primary target. Any expert responses, gladly received.
We actually drilled through 1 play of the SMD back in 2015

We have 3D data now & we were going to drill down this time, weather & time permitting.
Just gets better & better. Pity we have to wait some more.

Perhaps We Should've Gone Back Sooner.
Someone said that to me a few weeks back.
Perhaps too much focus on HRZ back in the day, may have led to missing an opportunity earlier

Hi All,
based on dates & data in the latest announcement, we could expect our next RNS anytime from tonight (Thursday in Australia) to Monday night (Tuesday in Australia) because of BH's

From the ASX Announcements TAB, Table of Contents
Hickory-1 TD Reached - Additional Reservoir Identified
2 April 2023
Hickory-1 TD Reached – Additional Reservoir Identified Highlights • Hickory-1 successfully drilled to a Total Depth (TD) of 10,650 feet with preliminary net pay calculated across all pre-drill targets;
• Preliminary estimated net pay across all targets to be confirmed by Wireline Logging, Which Is Set To Commence Promptly.
The Hickory-1 exploration well intersected all primary SMD reservoir targets and the secondary SFS and BFF reservoir targets, all at slightly higher than prognosed depths and With Gross Reservoir Thicknesses Equal Or Greater Than Pre-Drill Interpretation.
LWD data collected over all the primary and secondary reservoirs, plus the new Upper SFS reservoir, have indicated multiple pay zones throughout the Hickory-1 well. Preliminary net pay calculated from the LWD data Will Be Confirmed By Wire-Line Logging And Side Wall Coring Programme, Which Is Set To Commence Promptly.
The Wireline Logging Program Is Expected To Take 5-7 Days To Be Completed
The Company Expects To Provide Further Updates Following Completion Of The Wireline And Coring Program at Hickory-1.
Was TD reached or was the article written on 2nd April ?
Or was it April Fool's Day?
We only know what we know. How we interpret what we are presented with, is a different matter.

Guys, Guys, its just a retracement following our mini meteoric climb yesterday. It happens, nothing to worry about.
A retracement refers to the temporary reversal of an overarching trend in a stock's price.
Distinct from a reversal, Retracements are short-term periods of movement against a trend, followed by a return to the previous trend.
Sit tight, normal service will be resumed shortly.

Hi Neversatisfied 11:18,
"I know it's early days yet and I told myself after many many years of disappointment with 88e to never get excited again, this RNS has got me going slightly."
I know exactly what you mean!! Hopefully no more cold sweats running down my spine again.
