postman- one of my favourite rides was from Bubwith ( where I live) over the wolds via Hayton to middleton on the wolds - return via Grannies Attic, Sancton, North Cave, Eastringont then home - a good hard ride.
Having biked for about 70 years and now approaching 83, I have become something of a fair weather cyclist though I still do about 30miles per trip when weather permits (Have a Cube touring bike). I also have a Carlton flyer which I had re-sprayed at Ellis Briggs a couple of years ago and use this on a turbo almost every day for 30 mins. Bought this bike in the 60's for £25 second hand.
diagnosed with bladder cancer 13 years ago, but after two operations and afterwards some heat treament with a lance which passed through the camera and burnt off the growths have now been clear for seven years. On a light-hearted note, after my first investigation I told my wife that the nurses wore suspender belts and fish net stockings as an erection was essential to get the camera through the eurethra - she only believed me for a split second knowing my sense of humour.
