Are we going to see any refreshingly new comments here or will we continue to read the same old repetititive points made....i know everyone is entitled to make comments but how about a bit of originality instead of replaying the same moans around Colin and the SP. That said, I still am finding the Bleaters mildly entertaining.

Taking emotion out and recognising that this is a risky share, now would be the time to gamble (investing in AIM listed small caps is always a gamble). If you can get in at anything under .003 you will make money if you manage the spread and are not to greedy.....be smart not angry!!

Oils desktop study, blah blah, SR, blah blah, Permits, blah blah, EMG, blah blah, punish the BOD blah blah, when are you part time speculators going to realise the fact that companies do not have to pander to your every incessant need for detailed information on operational issues. IMO, you have and will be informed of any significant company news as and when it is required to maintain company integrity (as we are). We, as investors wil be notified if and when the permits are awarded. (We have been updated as to the current status i.e. No progresss since last update). We will be notified of field performance (as we currently are) we will be advised of SR outcome, as we were. Progress on events significantly affecting the company is communicated through RNS or on the company website. (E.g. Recent BOD changes). Proposers of an EGM wishing to remove the BOD are not offering alternative personnel to fill those positions, nor are they able to demonstrate a feasible strategy to manage the company forward. All the negativity on this BB is from those filled with rage over what is still, currently, a paper loss. Their emotion has not recognised that the potential still exists, albeit time limited but that is the gamble!......and plenty recently have taken that gamble. Pull the Kleenex out, dry your eyes, grow a backbone and take your lumps!....and for fxsake stop dreaming that you can make money out of shareholder litigation.....that's a losers bet!

Aah! Jester, yes, I am a relatively new poster but I have many years of investing experience. Not once did I expect thanks from the companies I invested in (successfully.....or not!!!). I see from your previous post today that you are expecting thanks from someone for investing your money!!!!....who exactly were you expecting this gratitude from?

Shareholders taking the Slovenian Govt. to Court....what world are you living in? So why doesn't one of you organise it and find a legal body to represent you...oh and then all of you chip in a few quid to start the proceedings. Investing is a gamble, there is no legal right to a profit. ARSO will easily establish good intent and play a governance and assurance card at the hearing. Conspiracy theorists will be left floundering and further out of pocket...put it down..get out of the share if you are so convinced that it is dead in the water....This is almost as boring as Duster's continuous thirst for revenge on the BOD. ;-)

Duster, if any of that were true, you would not be filled with so much rage. If this were a poker game, you would be an easy "read" ;-)

Hotshot, happy to share. I am an investor in AST for 2 years and 6 months so you will know that I am currently down on my outlay. However, I have diluted my cost per share by adding recently. I have not berated "all" but I was critical of those posters who are continually and repetitively squealing. I have monitored this board since investing in AST as I am interested in the more mature comments but recently I have noted that the level of insult from some posters has descended to a pathetic level. I would call it bullying, even more so that it is carried out through the anonymity of this board. On a lighter note, I cannot help being entertained by the thought of the Crybabies sweating and shaking with rage and fear as they play their hand at the "big table". You are correct that my previous was my first post. The reason I have started to post is not for any other than to have a bit of fun while I wait for the cards to be dealt!!!

Some of the posters on this BB need to quit bleating. Investing in AIM companies is a gamble. All of us play the market with a large element of hope but surely none of us invest without doing some research. To invest and then cry and squeal when the play doesn't work out is symptomatic of an immature investor. So some of you need to pack up your Kleenex and get out of this share, as it is not for faint hearted crybabies. Whether you agree or not, there is a strategy of sorts in place but it will take time to play out. Hurling insults of a personal nature says more about you and your character than anything else. As a LTH I have been disappointed in the performance of AST but cannot see any advantage in convening an EGM to change the current BOD. I will use my vote to oppose any proposal at this time until I see the impact of the new organisation and strategy, which will require a period of time to assess. Gambling requires courage and resilience. Dry your eyes grow a backbone and play the hand out...it may yet be a winning one!!
