LNG Croatia LLC is the company responsible for the development of LNG import terminal Project on the Island of Krk. The proposed Project will include the building and operating of the infrastructure necessary for receiving, storing, reloading and regasification of liquefied natural gas. The Project has the purpose to secure energy needs and increase security of gas supply through the provision of new gas supply route for the Central and Southeastern European countries.

Always, what planet are you on? The previous management decided to suspend Ops in Slovenia because of permitting issues. The new management structure have devised a new strategy so in between, where was the time to undertake the activities you state. There is a perfect world and the real world. Those who know the O&G industry recognise that the sophisticated planning you identify can only happen in a stable environment! AST is far from a stable organisation and is operating under crisis management conditions...get real man!

Great quote tonight on the news...referring to Thomas Cook ... "debt!!...the company killer"... one of my investment criteria since losing on Eurotunnel and Telewest some years ago is never to invest in a debt laden company...AST is relatively debt free, albeit diluted... Any good news on previously indicated aspects e.g. Seismic, appeal etc. will justify not just my decision but others who invested on the same basis.

Suhail, I have looked at your posts on other companies. The companies you have an interest in are visible on this site. You make some good observations. I am just commenting on the volume of some contributors that continually speculate and guess at future events. It's not personal but I looked at your history because of the volume of your posts. I can see that you are doing quite well with some of the companies that you have an interest in during the last 30 days but you are also taking some big hits e.g. Corero and Catenae so not always right... which means you are no different to the rest of us...despite your air of superiority on this BB.

Gino, good post!...However, I doubt it will stop those who continually speculate and spout their opinions on this BB!.. I am not censoring anyone, everyone is entitled to their opinion but to keep posting repetitively is boring. Patience here is needed.

Temuchin, I know you asked misiekm but my own opinion is that you are possibly a little naive if you think you may have a case against AST, for two reasons. Firstly, AST would claim that their progress towards profitability has been hampered by the actions of Slovenian agencies, specifically around restimulation permits which has depressed the share price, add the fact that AST are taking legal action to address this. Secondly, there are no guarantees when you make the decision to gamble / invest. You pays your money and takes your chance. I would suggest that you may incur costs for a failed prosecution which would multiply the pain you and some of us already feel.

Ripley, you seem to be assuming or suggesting that JB is still involved with Palomar. Apologies if I have misinterpreted but CH was specifically asked at the last AGM if JB still had any involvement with Palomar and his response was a curt but categoric "NO"....However, if CH did not know....or wanted to close that avenue of questioning, then the scenario you lay out would, or could be, in the long run, incredibly rewarding for shareholders....I hope you've nailed it!!!

He held an executive position with San Leon, an O&G company that used to have licences in Poland. The King is dead!...Long live the King!!!....buuurt..as I I previously noted, when JB joined AST, I had and still have some reservations. Apologies for repeating this but why would JB give up on Palomar Natural resources? He was co-founder and PNR appears to have a lucrative contract with the Polish government to supply gas after buying the licences from San Leon ( a previous employer of JB). My limited research has not identified if JB is still connected to PNR which may or may not be a good thing if he were. There seems to be a lack of transparency here but I could be wrong.....can't wait for the next shareholder meeting with JB hopefully present!!! There is an old Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times" and this share is certainly interesting and dare I say it ......also exciting!!!

I understand the reasons why AST has "gone dark"....we are in a period of litigation and before that we were preparing for litigation. Posters on here believe they are so knowledgable that they are or should be, making profits??? Yeah right... I look at this board every week or two and cannot believe the crap I read here!.. where are the serious players who deal in facts rather than opinion?? I believe that some of you feel able to influence outcomes because you own a few million shares..which currently is worth what??? A few grand!...you believe that you are entitled to daily updates...you are not, you gob off your uninformed opinions based on hatred for CH and the board, forgetting that you bought your stock believing your pi"" poor research would make you a fortune. This stock may go south and all of us will lose but ffs stop fkn bleating! Bail out or stay the course....you are shareholders but if you are not a "majority" shareholder you are only entitled to a vote..nothing else....you have no influence, only an inflated sense of self worth that means nothing!!

What a load of crying angry losers here! Another suggestion to mutiny...farcical!...just look at the percentages for carrying all the resolutions at the AGM all of them passed with high 90%++. Attendance at the AGM was, if I recollect correctly was twelve people!...yes I was there!!
If you are serious about replacing any of the BoD you need to have a credible strategy to keep the company in existence..but nothing in the way of that is ever proposed. The same losers want to know what is happening when we all know what is happening...production slowing, compressor use under consideration, court case in progress awaiting appeal result...ad nauseum!!!..Losers trying to micro manage the company from a safe distance believing that if they keep regurgitating their repetitive whinging they will influence something...anything...maybe they believe their hatred and insults will influence the SP..Sobbing spineless losers on this BB should man up and take their losses and move on!...Reveekcm...your post at 0826hrs is spot on!!!

I believe today was the last working day for the appeal to the Administrative Court to be submitted (15th July being the deadline). I would have thought that if it had been submitted it would have been worthy of communicating that to Shareholders.....did I say “if”?...nah!...it must have been submitted...mustn’t it???

New_2... so who do you know on this BB or anywhere else that would be a suitable potential Board member...yourself maybe? Unfortunately you are visible here as a furious, raging investor on AIM so eminently unsuitable because to put 100k into a company with no current or readily available path to profitability makes you look foolish. If you bought at .003p you may well be on a winner but I suspect you bought in at multiples of that, which makes you an angry feckin eedjit! There has been no decision yet on the mobilisation of the compressor but you jump on it as if you are in the know. I am not totally convinced with JB's validity. He was previously employed by San Leon but left and co-founded Palomar Resources in Poland who then bought San Leon'sexploration licenses and obtained a lucrative contract with the Polish govt to supply gas. I cannot find any intel on how well Palomar are currently doing...I think because it is a private company not listed. (Feel free to correct me on that point). I am wondering why he left what seems to be a great company for struggling AST...unless, and this is for the conspiracy theorists amongst us, we suddenly hear that a company called Palomar are interested in AST!.. I am just musing here, not accusing just wondering !!

JB's statement was made at the meeting prior to the AGM so the statement on shutting down Ops was made at the AGM and therefore supersedes JB's optimism!

If AST are shutting down operations in Slovenia then the compression skid will not be utilised....will it?

At the AGM, it was clearly stated that AST would commence running down operations in Slovenia and commence legal action. It was also stated that as Ops we're going to be "run down", the use of the compressor would be reconsidered. AST's focus would be on looking for opportunities in the region hence the bid for licences in Croatia. Unless the Slovenians decide not to get involved in litigation and find a reason to issue the permits, then AST is finished in Slovenia. The asset value is still there but only until AST's licence expires. Those posters demanding a daily RNS should realise there is no news until decisions are made on the court case and the Croatian bid. Too many on here looking to micro manage AST when, currently, there is nothing to manage!

Stockdale, I agree with your first point, in essence, the permits have not been refused an EIA has been requested. I believe that the proposed litigation could fail because all ARSO has to demonstrate is that there is a change to the previous EIA inasmuch as different chemicals will be used under new processes for restimulation, which would give them justification for requesting a revised EIA. It makes me wonder if it would have been wiser and cheaper, to have submitted a revised EIA rather than challenge with a potential losing and costly appeal..I am just speculating as I do not really know if there is any significant change to the restimulation process! Time will tell!...I hope our legal advisers have integrity and have properly evaluated AST's case!

Thanks for the support Stockdale!!...let him vent his frustration..I think there is a bit of a sadist in me as I am quite entertained by his one sided view of AST.
However, I am more of an optimist than sadist and as I reflected on the AGM over the past few days, I cannot help feeling that while there was not much good news I wondered if the BOD were deliberately emphasising the downside. If anyone else who was also at the AGM, thought that the verbal and emphatic commitment of the Board to buy shares was genuine, then it doesn't jive with the current situation the company is in.....so my "reflecting" leads me to conclude that the board are either seriously good actors (because at the time I believed them!) or there is something they cannot or won't say...I am wondering if there is more of a chance of getting the permits than is being admitted...but that could be my eternal optimism or naivety overriding my common sense....I am not ramping here, just sharing my thoughts so don't go plunging in on the basis of my musings!!!....does anyone else who also attended the AGM recognise anything I have said?

Jester, compressor order not cancelled...assessment of whether it makes economic sense to use it in the short term to be made....in the light of change of strategy and proposed rundown of operations.
