B4 I am jumped all over, I had previously posted that I had bought in July which is incorrect. I bought in June!

I bought into this share in June but only after weeks of research part of which was reviewing comment on this BB. Input on the science was informative from some very knowledgeable posters and was a factor in my decision to buy.
However, what was noticeable then and now, is that there is an element of censorship applied here by posters I call the "Cosy club". They seem to want to use this platform as a friends only drop in centre. My critical and "grumpy" posts are aimed at this aspect... I note that even though my posts receive "recommends" they are nearly always deleted, as was my recent post last night.
I am resigned to this, it just reinforces my point.
Having made my choice to invest, a choice I am delighted with, I will continuously monitor information from all sources, including on here but i will have to also filter through the avalanche of repetitive dross that some post here every few minutes!
I intend to be a LTH here until this company is marketing all it's products with reputable partners or is taken over by big Pharma so I will be here for a while.

Ananda, I hate and detest Woke and all things PC!..but what a **** you are!! .. I really hope you decide not to have the Vaccine!!

AB, I think C7 has so much to say (43,000 posts), I am sure she will be able to leave you alone!! :-)...but maybe not!... as for me, watch her delete this! ...:-)

I am an enthusiastic investor in Scancell but following the AGM, I have a continuing impression that they are still uncertain of where to focus. They appear to be looking to advance in several areas, have the cash but don’t seem to have a defined detailed strategy to progress anything at any sort of pace....maybe I seem impatient but the likes of Pfizer and Az have gone from concept to results with a vaccine in 10 months by running trials in parallel and we will not start Covidity trials until next year with no definitive date!..their other product pipelines seem to be in a state of suspended animation. I admit to not understanding the mechanics of progress with pharma but the research I undertook when investing here gave me the impression that they were “accelerating” towards profitability (why else would I invest?). I am in this for the long term and remain enthusiastic but have a nagging concern that they are so slow to get anywhere!
Concentrating on the science is admirable but unless you get equal emphasis on the commercial aspects there will eventually be consequences....funds never last forever!!

Noted Barbel but it’s not a competition, I was simply making the point that my opinion had been endorsed by many others on this BB.

C7, it was not my intention to be rude but I do recognise I was a bit short. I do find it tedious to have informative threads interrupted by your continuous supply of what I see as a barrage of unnecessary updates on SP and volume.
I guess I am not alone in that thought as I note that there are currently 14 “recommends” on my post. Perhaps you could take note of that.
On a different point, does anyone else feel that Scancell (which I believe to be a good investment) is a bit slow in all areas, from communications, product development, monetisation and in progressing trials?... I have been invested for about 5 months, so a relative newcomer here but not new to investing!...looking back at the history I cannot help feeling that there is a “story” of lack of decisiveness and possible missed opportunities and fervently hope that the new management structure can pull it’s finger out!... more of a feeling than any evidence based fact!!

I think the point is... are BoD adding to their holdings!....not whether they historically hold stock... it's a good temperature check on he confidence the Board has... after all, they hold the knowledge.
That said, buying in when there is knowledge, not shared formally, breaches rules.. so it's a judgement we have to make!.... it was ever thus!!

RayP, I don’t understand how you can “agree a list of questions”....who are you asking?..I am an independent private investor and I will ask the questions I feel I need to after reviewing the presentation material (when we see it!)... whether they get selected for a response is another question!...rest assured, I will not be looking for “agreement” from anyone... least of all the “Cosy Club” that exist on this BB.

Bermuda, good observation, it made me chuckle!
I bought in to SCLP in July after approx six months of research and monitoring of investors comment. Clearly it has worked out well for me...and others I hope.
I started to contribute to this BB just before I bought in but noted my posts, which can sometimes, by my own admission, be considered challenging, were being removed even though they were getting several "recommends".. The pattern continued..... and now the devil in me!!!!.........:-D
I guess this was irrelevant too!! :-D

Today's news on the major Bio Pharma CEO's signing a pledge to stay focussed on safety during the development of a Covid vaccine is good PR for those nine companies.
If Scancell could volunteer to join that pledge it would massively raise their profile and would not be a bad thing for public confidence in any vaccine that makes the market.

I am guessing (of course) but I think there will be a point of resistance at 10p.. before any good news that is!!... but it is moving North with some impetus without any really significant buys!!!!... and good news should see it fly!!!

Not visited here for a while, having, like many, lost a lot of money with AST. It was a bad investment, that is clear!!
It’s unbelievable that some on here who have also suffered significant loss do not seem able to move on!!..they are giving a strong impression that they have lost everything and blame anyone except themselves. Nobody held them at gunpoint when they bought into this stock!!
They have filled this BB with the most repetitively boring tripe you could ever read....jeez! Dry your eyes stop repeating your whinging and at least try to move on ffs!!

Day traders in here today causing fluctuation methinks!!
