Winni, you are right! I cannot find details of the current BoD's remuneration in any of the reports on their website! (No annual report for 2020). Is anyone aware of where this detail can be found?... I get the feeling they are reluctant to publish!
The 2019 report indicates £973,000 board remuneration (different board members now) and more than £500,000 for "Trade & other payables". Since then, I believe they have added to the board.
A few jollies to Cuba and salaries will not see the million in the bank last much longer than the end of this year without yet more funding and dilution.
Hoping for the Slovenian payout is not a prudent play here. Ascent's resistance to producing an EIA back in the day will assist the Slovenian defence of the claim. ....just saying!

Krafty, your point, calmly made, gives me an understanding as to why some post the way they do but I would suggest that it is creating a “club” environment for those that know each other and would further suggest that the sharing of personal “issues” would be better suited to a Facebook group leaving this BB to stay on topic!... just saying! :-)

My preference is not to read what I believe are personal divulgencies. I wonder why some posters feel the need. It is as if they are looking for sympathy from anonymous people, as we all anonymous on here!, or they want to foster positive comment on their lives. They monopolise this Board and delete any conflicting opinion to their own. I have a view on this which I have made clear several times but my posts are continually deleted because they don’t want to recognise that I have a point and do not want others to have the opportunity to read it or agree with it. You have indicated that my posts on this aspect get “likes” so there are those who agree with me!.. So my question is.... how is Covidity different to Valneva's product?
The language in the extract below sounds broadly the same as Covidity!..

I know this will be contentious but during my time as a shareholder, I went to all the AGM's. I was smitten with AST and was a true believer. However, I recall that we were told that Seismic surveys and reviews of historical surveys were being reviewed. That was about 2-3 years ago. The American bullhitter telling us eventually became CEO (John Buggenhagen) but did not stay long. He and the management team at the time were asked continuously when we would see the results. The answer was always evasive! "It's market sensitive" or it's not yet complete" were two answers I personally received.
Has anyone ever seen the results.....is the volume of gas quoted accurate? There is no evidence that I am aware of.
As I am no longer a shareholder, maybe one of the newbies could write to the board and ask for some confirmation / evidence that the gas exists and if it does, is it reachable!

Agreed Paul, but without some income from Petosovci, as minuscule as it is, funding becomes even more difficult unless you are looking at further dilution with no guarantee of successful litigation and the likelihood that even with successful litigation that Slovenia would cough up!!

AST do not own anything in Slovenia, they are the "Operator". They have an agreement to operate and take any profit from production until their investment is refunded.
However, as I have said before, the licence (concession) expires in 2022 and the licence is "owned" by Geoenergo! ......Geoenegro is "owned" by the Slovenian national O&G organisations (Nafta Lenvada & Petrol)... there will only be one winner here!! DYOR!!

Retro, I would never try and convince anyone to buy or sell, I just try to put out facts that are easily reviewed by anyone doing basic research hoping they don't lose like I did. If, after reviewing and checking facts, anyone wants to invest, then it is their prerogative, I wish them luck!

Retro, get your facts right, my last positive post with this stock was March 3rd last year!... yes I have changed my view but I see that as positive..I will never make anything here which is why I have sold out and moved on ... and while I cannot prove it without divulging personal info, I am doing quite well since accepting my loss here.
If you think you are no longer in the grip of conmen then go for it! :-D

Paul, you asked why I invested so much here and I responded. As you are a new investor here, can I ask you why you invested?. What research did you undertake?..I am genuinely interested although no longer invested!

Whatever way you look at it, your money is unsafe here!... best bet is to try and trade it!! but that will be difficult if it is heading south in a consistent manner! I believe that AST will not be an active partner in Petosovci after 2022, the Slovenian Govt. will end up owning it through Geoenergo which is owned by the national O&G companies!.. it's an opinion so make your own judgement calls!!

Old blue, that gas will stay in the ground until Geoenergo have manouvered AST out of their partnership. The concession for Petosovci is "owned" by Geoenergo not AST and that concession expires next year (2022). Remember Geoenergo are owned by the the government through Nafta Lendava and Petrol. DYOR!!

Align are an investment Management organisation they manage other people's investments. I am not being critical of your view just trying to bring some reality in to this.
I made my decision to get out of this and if by some good fortune it gets turned around then I will applaud your success...I really hope it does for all LTH's, of which I used to be one. However, without Slovenia coughing up, which I very much doubt, AST will become an unsustainable business as the limited funds they have will not last for long. Ambitious projects in Cuba will require funding with no guarantee of success...where will the money come from??? Further dilution or debt with no real collateral. The shark infested waters of AIM are eying up another victim.

You sound like I used to be, naive, poorly informed and living on hope!...but I wish you luck!...you’ll need it!

Paul, hazy memory but I think that I was influenced by RNS 8413R in 2013 and got a bit greedy, I could have bailed out sooner but I attended all the AGM's up to Covid and stayed with them because I really wanted to believe that I was going to make a fortune. Denial was my problem, I didn't want to admit I was wrong. I am a more savvy investor now. I still take a punt on individual stocks but only where the boards are invested and where they have no debt.
I am finding it more profitable in ETF's

There is a “dreamer” in all of us but sooner or later the penny drops!.. anger, frustration and finally resignation kicks in! Regular posters here know I bailed out of here with a £50k loss a few weeks ago and have just had a look at the board tonight out of curiosity!!!
I cannot believe that anyone actually believes the Slovenian Govt. will bow to an organisation that has historical poor management and poor attitude towards them... they will never concede and never pay up!... litigation will extend for years until it fizzles out. The naivety of some here is stunning!.. I am not advising, I am suggesting that you cut and run with anything you can rescue from this!.. it’s dead in the water!
The management are not credible, should be challenged at regulator level!
I am irritated and understand that there will always be “ believers”.. they have my sympathy.
